Wenzhou'S New Path Of Shoe Enterprises

The economic and trade cooperation zone is a powerful means to change the frequent trade barriers of China's export products, but it still faces the pressure to realize localization. Obviously, usurusk, the Russian Far East City, which is nearly ten thousand kilometers away from Moscow, is changing, though it is part of the 2 square kilometers.

A busy atmosphere in China is brought here by Chinese sand workers, cement builders and skilled female workers on the assembly line.

This is the usurusk economic and trade cooperation zone.

Since November 2006, the Russian government has promulgated a series of decrees that restrict foreigners' engaging in retail trade in Russia, making tens of thousands of figures (figures hard to prove). A harmonious business concept seems to be established when the Chinese government and those newly established enterprises have digested their external accusations, such as poor quality products and vicious competition, into their own introspection.

Kangnai group and its partner Dongning Jixin group jointly developed the usurusk economic and trade cooperation zone, which seems to be a model for Chinese enterprises to go overseas at this stage.

It is in line with the Chinese government's vision for the 11th Five-Year plan: to build about 10 overseas cooperation zones, and to produce 1 million cotton spindles, 100 million garments and 20 million household electrical appliances.

China hopes to bring the industries saturated with domestic market such as textiles, clothing, shoes and hats and furniture to the countries that need them more.

Over the past decade or so, the trade surplus (which has become dreadful in recent years) has caused great outrage. Over the past decade, countries that have encountered the largest number of anti-dumping investigations and anti-dumping measures have been intolerable. Now, these sentiments have found common exports. Are they likely to be subsided in the economic cooperation areas being built?

The usurusk cooperation area was formerly the western industrial area of the former Soviet Union, with only a few unfinished factories.

In the blueprint of Kangnai and Jixin, it will be an economy with 60 light industry and household electrical appliance enterprises with an annual output value of about 20000000000 Yuan.

This blueprint will slowly become reality in 5 years.

Zhong Puming, general manager of Kangnai, and Xia Lin Hongdu, director of the external trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau of Wenzhou, firmly believe that the establishment of an economic and trade cooperation zone abroad is a better way to change the trade barriers of Chinese exports.

The Chinese government has provided strong support.

Chinese President Hu Jintao attended the opening ceremony of the Pakistan Haier economic zone and the Zambia economic and trade cooperation zone of China Nonferrous Metals Group in November 2006 and February 2007 respectively.

"Kangnai is likely to become the third one (be awarded by the Ministry of Commerce").

Xia Linhong said.

A piece of news that was originally in a possible state has been confirmed. The Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of finance will provide funds for each cooperation area project which has been awarded for a total amount of not more than 200 million yuan, which is funded by the Central Foreign Trade Development Fund.

Can feel the excitement of Kangnai group.

As a private enterprise, which has been looking for its own international road, it may be experiencing a joy before it will be completed.

Since 2002, Kangnai has opened 120 stores in Europe and the United States. Currently, 500 thousand pairs of 9 million pairs of leather shoes are exported through their exclusive stores.

Although Kangnai is disdainful of those who doubt the profitability of its foreign franchised stores, there is no doubt that the current number of international sales is not satisfactory.

Now, a private enterprise can almost sit down and negotiate with people in the name of the state. This makes the grassroots enterprises struggling overseas before get a sense of belonging instantly.

But this excitement did not seem to be passed to the Wusu Rees city government.

For foreign capital, their attitudes are significantly different from those of Chinese.

In the city hall of usurusk, Xia Linhong suffered a little embarrassment.

Prior to this, the Wenzhou foreign trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau and the Ukrainian government agreed to hold a large-scale performance event in Urumqi in August, and Russia was responsible for the venues and lighting.

It seems that Russia has little interest in this form of publicity that Chinese people are familiar with.

When asked about how foreign capital and Urumqi expect foreign investment to enter the industry, President uuma Duma, after welcoming foreign investment, pointed out that the city's agricultural development potential is huge, such as economic crops planting, breeding, meat processing and so on.

Huang Yuzeng, deputy general manager of Xia Linhong and Cong international investment company, expressed his understanding of Russia's attitude and thought that their way of thinking was similar to that of China in the 80s of last century.

Patience is necessary.

But patience is not enough.

Are we prepared for others in a hurry?

It should be admitted that the quality of the shoe enterprises that have entered the cooperation zone can not be compared with Kangnai's quality. The production mode that is reassembled through pportation of semi-finished products to the cooperative area (which is also applicable to the appliance enterprises in the future area) will not arouse the other party's discussion of "La beaux" after the end of the 49 year lease in the cooperation zone.

It has been reported that Chinese enterprises have invested in factories such as Kampuchea and Vietnam and have already put pressure on the semi-finished products imported into Indonesia, Philippines and other countries. The ASEAN countries think that it hinders the development of their related industries.

For a long time, investment companies in China have been very lucky, and they seem to have never encountered similar problems.
