Guangdong Textile College New Campus Opened In September To Enroll 4600 Students

The main building of Gao Mingxin campus of Guangdong Textile Vocational Technical College has been completed and will be put into use in September this year.

After the opening of the new campus, its enrollment will reach 4600 this year.

Recently, reporters at the construction site of Guangdong Textile Vocational Technical College Gao Mingxin campus saw that four conjoined teaching buildings, circular design student canteens, and tall and upright training buildings and other main campus buildings have been built, and the interior decoration is being intensified.

Reporters learned that the Gao Mingxin campus of Guangdong Textile Vocational Technical College is a key construction project in Guangdong province.

The total area of the project is 1030 mu, of which the first phase of construction started in January last year, with a construction scale of more than 120 thousand square meters, with a total investment of 397 million yuan.

According to the progress of the project, the first phase of the project will be put into operation in September this year.

According to the introduction, after the opening of the Gao Mingxin campus, the enrollment will reach 4600. According to the third batch of A lines, it will recruit students from 13 provinces and cities nationwide.

Besides setting up 8 major directions, such as textile department and light chemical engineering department, the Academy will also add new textile quality management, home textile design and LED new electric light source, and strive to closely link with market demand and regional economic development.

Xiong Xiaoyun, Secretary of the Party committee of Guangdong Textile Vocational Technical College, said that in order to cooperate with the new campus, the hospital has made great efforts in teaching staffing and campus construction. In the next 3 years, more than 300 teachers will be introduced to the new campus to provide a solid backing for the development of the Textile Academy.
