Lanzhou Clothing Workers' University

Gansu art design school (formerly Gansu clothing school and Lanzhou clothing workers' University) is a public secondary vocational school established by the provincial people's government. In 2006, it was renamed Gansu art and design school by the provincial editorial board and the provincial education department.

Engaged in the teaching of art majors, combined with the office of Lanzhou clothing workers' University, two brands, a set of institutions and a contingent of teachers were put into practice.

The basic situation of the school.

1, there are 52 Teachers and 34 full-time teachers (including 9 senior professional titles and 23 intermediate professional titles). 85% of the teachers engaged in art teaching work, the school has a computer design graphic studio, a complete set of clothing practice equipment, and a large decoration professional practice base. There are more than 3 books in the library, including 58% professional books.

Now we have set up such majors as fashion design, garment technology engineering, fashion design and performance, interior and exterior decoration design, environmental art design, advertising packaging design, sculpture design and so on.

2, the strength of teachers is strong, professional and business quality is high. 16 people (Times) have won national awards. More than 40 people (Times) have won provincial and ministerial awards, and published 80 professional papers and works at national, provincial and ministerial level publications. 6 teachers have held personal exhibitions in Lanzhou, Xi'an, Beijing, Nanjing and Shanghai.

In particular, the practice base set up by the school, Gansu decoration art company, representing Gansu's "50th anniversary achievement exhibition" held in Beijing and other places, "exhibition of achievements in economic construction and spiritual civilization construction since the 14th National Congress", "exhibition of Chinese minorities" and other large and medium-sized exhibitions, the exhibition hall designed by our school teacher has won many awards such as state-level best design, best production and so on. It has won honor for the Gansu people and has undertaken the design and production of Lanzhou Lanzhou investment and Trade Fair for eight years in a row.

It has laid a good foundation for our school to set up arts majors.

3, the major is strong in practicality, large in social demand and wide in employment channels for students.

Since its establishment, the school has trained more than 1300 kinds of art and design talents for 21 provinces (cities and districts) in China. Among them, 21% of the graduates have become managers of enterprises, 51% of them have become the backbone of the enterprises, and 15% of them have become individual entrepreneurs.

In recent years, under the situation of relatively difficult employment of students, our school graduates are in short supply, and the prospect of running schools will be very broad.

4. The school is located in the center of Lanzhou. The traffic is very convenient. It is less than one kilometer away from the provincial Party committee, the provincial government, the provincial people's Congress and the Oriental red square. It provides a good geographical environment for students to broaden their horizons, capture information and grasp the dynamics of their majors.

Fashion design and performance specialty is a special brand specialty that our school should set up for social needs.

By learning professional knowledge and skills such as aesthetic education, performance, etiquette, dance, physique, image design, art appreciation, costume design, photography, marketing, dress and craft, and strict professional training and practice, the students are fully equipped with high academic qualifications, high-quality etiquette, show shows and professional performances of various kinds of advertising, laying the development space for clothing marketing, design and production in the future.
