Heilongjiang Strengthens Export Footwear Inspection
The Heilongjiang inspection and Quarantine Bureau has stepped up its export footwear inspection since the launch of the product quality special rectification action.
According to the different colors, materials, crafts, producing areas and metal decorations of the export shoes, a certain number of samples are sent to inspection institutions such as Liaoning with inspection conditions. 24 kinds of banned samples can be decomposed to produce aromatic amine azo dyes and pentachlorophenol, and more than 90% conform to the category a product requirements stipulated in the GB18401-2003 basic safety technical specification for national textiles, that is, the requirements for infant products; the other 10% meet the requirements of class B, which can directly contact the skin.
Heilongjiang Bureau inspected 1165 batches of export footwear in the first 8 months of this year, with a value of $38 million 750 thousand, representing an increase of 92.9% and 76.9% over the same period.
Heilongjiang footwear products are mainly exported to 30 countries and regions, including Russia, the United States, Japan, Denmark and the United Arab Emirates.
Exports to Russia alone were 588 batches, valued at $24 million 910 thousand, up 600% and 116% respectively, representing 24.7% and 64.3% of Heilongjiang's total footwear exports.
Russia is the most important foreign trade country in Heilongjiang province. The growth of Russian footwear is the main factor leading to the growth of export footwear.
This year, Russian customs and inspection institutions stipulate that all Russian footwear products need to obtain Russian mandatory product certification, and the Russian mandatory certification mark can be returned to the Russian market and customs clearance is normal.
Before that, the export of Russian footwear products failed to get the Russian compulsory certification, but it was not able to clear the customs normally.
The Heilongjiang Bureau has taken a series of measures to increase inspection and publicity efforts in the case of a sharp increase in exports. The quality awareness of domestic distributors has gradually increased. Moreover, the export of Russian footwear products has been independently ordered by Russian businessmen in China, and the quality of products has been recognized.
In order to maintain the image of "made in China", Heilongjiang Bureau will also increase investment in scientific and technological testing equipment, and at the same time increase publicity efforts, so that exporters can establish awareness of honesty, responsibility and rules, ensure the quality and safety of each export footwear product, and jointly maintain the international reputation of Chinese products.
