During the dialogue of organizing ministerial meeting "challenges facing Bangladesh", participants pointed out that Bangladesh should promote free clothing.

They strongly lobbied the government to take political action and win tariff free quotas for US exports at the forum held by the national think tank policy dialogue Center (CPD) at the city conference center.
When an important document was submitted at the dialogue conference, Debapriya Bhattacharyya, an outstanding researcher at CPD, said Bangladesh should now focus on the "second generation" issue, including rules of origin, non-tariff measures and other regulations, before obtaining tariff preferences.
These facilities are likely to help Bangladesh expand.

Debapriya Bhattacharyya added that the US economy is in recession again, and that China's high inflation and the debt crisis of the 17 countries in the euro area are the main challenges facing the developing economy.
He also stressed that the gap between Africa and Asia's least developed countries is widening.
