According to incomplete statistics: in more than 2000 of home furnishing enterprises in China, 60% of the enterprises specializing in the production of home furnishing clothes in Shantou are concerned.

The production of household clothing in Shantou not only accounts for 70% of the total domestic clothing output, but also the sales volume of household clothing enterprises in Shantou has accounted for more than 80% of the total sales of household clothing in the country.

In the national household clothing brand products, the number of famous brands of household clothes in Shantou ranks first in the same industry in the whole country.

Later, vice president Zhang Li pointed out that the establishment of Shantou fashion home furnishing industry development research institute is a great event in China's home furnishing industry. It indicates that Shantou has the most complete industrial scale and the largest production scale of domestic clothing cluster from now on, and has its own organization since then.
