Hunan Spot Checks Fiber Textile Products Quality Better
Recently, the Hunan Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau announced the results of supervision and spot checks on the quality of fiber textile products.
In 2011, 729 batches of fiber textiles were surveyed twice, involving more than 200 production enterprises in the province.
Varieties
Mainly for cotton products (including cotton pads, tread quilts, etc.), bedding (including sheets, quilts, pillowcases, etc.) and clothing products (including student clothing, military training clothes, labor insurance clothing, casual wear, shirts, T-Shirts, etc.).
Among them, 183 batches of cotton wadding products were selected and 180 batches of bedding samples were selected for spot checks of 366 batches of clothing products.
Judging from the inspection results, the quality of the cotton wadding products is relatively good, the pass rate is 96.7%, followed by bedding items, the pass rate is 90.6%, and the quality is up to 90.6%.

The province's fiber textile production enterprises are mainly concentrated in Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Yiyang and Yueyang, especially the Changsha and Zhuzhou enterprises, accounting for about 60% of the province's textile and textile products enterprises.
According to the unqualified inspection items, the raw materials of cotton wool products are mainly less than the standard requirements, and 5 of the 6 unqualified products are not qualified.
The color fastness and composition content of the bedding products were mainly wet and rubbing. 17 of the unqualified products, 14 of them did not reach the standard of wet rubbing fastness, accounting for 82.4%, and 3 of them failed to reach the standard, accounting for 17.6%.
The quality problems of clothing products are mainly the composition content, pH value and color fastness.
Requirement
A small number of products have formaldehyde exceeding standard and pilling phenomenon.
