Italy Shoe Manufacturer, The Company Will Establish R & D Center In China

Italy's "24 hours Sun" reported on January 9th, to produce and sell sports shoes soles of Italy, the company will invest 20 million euros to set up R & D centers in China.

The company published an article in Les Echos, the famous French economics Daily, and pointed out that the development of the industry in the future will be very optimistic about China. Therefore, the company will build a 15 thousand square meter R & D center in China in 2008.

The ultimate goal is to attract young scientists and technicians in China's chemical and engineering fields to provide "incubators" for their creativity.

The future R & D center will be expected to become the "rubber Valley" of the industry.

In addition, most of the users of Italy's products have already set up factories in China. Therefore, the establishment of R & D centers in China will lead to better integration of R & D and production.

Italy's company has provided 32 million high-end sports shoes soles to more than 120 countries in the world, and produced 32 million units in 2007, with sales of 100 million euros, an increase of 10% over that of 2006.
