After the completion of the sewage treatment plant, all leather enterprises entering the park need to pay a certain fee according to the amount of sewage discharge. "This leather garden has more than 60 enterprises to enter, and the cost will be considerable."

The Leather Association official said that although it is a private investment project, as a public infrastructure, it is related to everyone's interests. The sewage treatment plant adopts the way of franchising. Although the government has ensured that the project has the opportunity to gain profits, it will also have some restrictions on the price.

Speaking at the symposium held after the foundation laying ceremony, Chen Ronghui, chairman of Quanzhou Leather Association and chairman of Feng leather industry, said that at present, the leather industry in Quanzhou is in urgent need of finding a new way out under the pressure of environmental protection policy. The Chai Hu leather park is the only leather pollution control area approved by Fujian provincial Environmental Protection Bureau, which carries many hopes of Quanzhou leather enterprises.

At the beginning of last year, in Jinjiang, a leather enterprise was ordered to close while the nine enterprises were relocated to Anton Industrial Park.

Shortly thereafter, Jinjiang's TMC centralized control area and Quangang Pu an tannery centralized control area were ordered to rectify. 9 enterprises in the tannery centralized control area of Pu an were even ordered to "suspend business for rectification" by the State Environmental Protection Administration.

Under the pressure of environmental protection, upgrading pollution control equipment and centralized control have become the solution. Leather enterprises themselves do not pay much attention to pollution control.

But after all, the history of Quanzhou leather industry's environmental protection is too much, and this debt can not be cleared up at any time.

It is reported that at present, the leather garden has signed 61 leather enterprises, more than 50 from Quanzhou.

In order to speed up the construction of leather gardens, many enterprises asked local governments to speed up the speed of infrastructure construction and the speed of handling related documents, and even some enterprises could not wait to start building plants.

In contrast to the urgent mood of the enterprise, the entrepreneurs who have already had enough trouble have placed great hopes on the sewage treatment plant and their helmsman Qiu Wuqiu.

"Sewage treatment plant is the core of the entire centralized control area, and the last line of defense. We must guard it."

Of the 50 thousand tons of sewage treated daily, 70% of the sewage will be reused after treatment and used as the production water of the enterprise. The rest of the sewage will be discharged into the deep sea after reaching the standard.
