Last year, more than half of the government procurement of the National Tourism Administration were service oriented, including China's domestic tourism fair, international trade fair and so on.

According to its introduction, in recent years, the National Tourism Administration has purchased some software platforms through open tender. With the deepening of supervision work, some of the original development systems can no longer meet the needs of work, so the relevant development companies need to develop and design new templates through government procurement.

If public bidding is made, it is likely that the continuity of service will not be guaranteed, resulting in the redevelopment of software and the increase of capital investment.

It is inevitable for public welfare exhibition items to be included in government procurement.

Many public welfare exhibition projects have done a useful exploration of exhibition service outsourcing through bidding.

Liu Dake, director of the exhibition research center of Beijing International Studies University, said in an interview with our reporter.

Liu Dake believes that the exhibition service should be determined by the government procurement according to the different exhibition items: first, the exhibition service should be paid by the market for the fully marketed exhibition project. Chen Gang talked about a very practical problem. Such a convention and exhibition service project requires exhibition companies to have business experience, and to understand cost control and have a reasonable team structure.

However, there are not many outsourced operators of professional exhibition services at present.

Chen Jingsheng, director of large scale operation and operation of Beijing Investment International Limited, believes that at present, some government led exhibition projects are only paid by on-site service personnel, while customer demand services at the conference site are not included in the project, and there is a shortage of services.

For example, when a customer seeks a project at the fair, there should be a service staff providing corresponding services for his needs.

But most exhibitions do not have this service.

In his view, the exhibition service has not been included in the government procurement, indicating that the government has not paid enough attention to the exhibition services, which is very unfavorable for the fast developing MICE industry.
