    Donghua University Uses Professional Features To Aid The Development Of Frontier Textile Industry

With many doubts, in July, 53 Donghua teachers and students walked from the bustling eastern city into the vast western border area, and went deep into Xinjiang's various areas to carry out social services.


    The reporter learned that the activity was originally put forward by Professor Qiu Yiping, Dean of the textile School of Donghua University, and was actively raised by his students in his personal space last year.

    Group members from the textile, and other related disciplines, undergraduate, master, doctoral candidates recruited, including 11 Tarim University and Donghua University jointly training students, 4 Xinjiang University students.

    From recruitment, establishment, training to the expedition, Qiu Yuan Chang recorded the whole process. Qiu also initiated and practiced physical training for boys 9000 meters and girls 6000 meter long distance.

    The members of the design team experienced many unexpected difficulties in completing the first questionnaire survey task, but the team members insisted on completing the questionnaires distributed and recovered according to the requirements of statistical analysis, and mastered the detailed data of the recent situation of the silk industry. More importantly, by communicating with the local people, the team experienced firsthand the great changes in the frontier, understood the cultures of the frontier nationalities, and met many lovely Uighur friends, which enhanced the sense of national unity.

    But for us, the harvest of hardship is very worthwhile and very meaningful.

    Professor Qiu Yiping believes that the survey results on the development and sale status of the silk industry are providing first-hand information for relevant government departments to formulate relevant policies and adjust their production ideas in the future.


    Training and internship, players and enterprises grow together


    Before starting, Cui Yunhua, Secretary of the general Party branch of Donghua Textile Institute, encouraged the members to make clear the division of labor and offer advice for the problems in the development of Xinjiang's textile industry.

    With the foundation of the last Xinjiang delegation to field research of more than 50 textile enterprises in Xinjiang, the Xinjiang Group has brought about a solution to the specific problems such as the abundant resources of silk and cotton, the size of the cotton spinning industry, and the planned development in the near future.


    The shortage of staff and technicians and the low professional quality of employees are one of the main problems restricting the development of Xinjiang cotton textile industry.

    Therefore, one of the main tasks of the Xinjiang Group is to train employees and grassroots cadres. At the same time, it also allows students to have a preliminary understanding of Xinjiang's enterprises and textile production processes.

    Professor Qiu Yiping, Dean of Textile College, Professor Wang Jun, Professor of Textile Engineering Department, Professor Zhang Chuyang, Dr. Xu Fu Jun of young teacher, and selected training group of doctoral and postgraduate candidates, have set up a training course of textile and enterprise management theory for a week and a half of dozens of grassroots cadres of 3 large enterprises, organized examinations and issued certificates of completion.

    At the same time, the teachers and students of Yuanjiang group also went to the workshop to make on-the-spot investigation and study, apply the accumulated theoretical knowledge to the specific operation machinery, and consult the worker master with an open mind.     Li Jingquan, general manager of the textile leading enterprise Lu Feng cotton industry company in Xinjiang, said that the Yuanjiang regiment's series training for the front-line employees of the enterprise has enabled everyone to have an in-depth understanding of the latest technology and management mode of the textile industry, improve the level of technical literacy and professional knowledge, and solve some problems of production for the enterprise.


    Professor Qiu Yiping, the dean of the Textile Academy and the general director of the practice group, said that the two major tasks of this period were: the doctoral and postgraduate students should take the latest advanced spinning process theory and enterprise management theory knowledge for the grassroots employees, and train the students of Uygur nationality to carry out their bilingual training. At the end of each training, they should write a proposal for the enterprises to solve the technical problems and talent problems faced by the development of Xinjiang's textile industry; two, help local enterprises carry out scientific research, and at the same time, let the junior students go deep into production practice, learn from the workers in front of the factory, combine the theoretical knowledge and production practice in the classroom, and train themselves into outstanding engineering and technical talents.

    Han Zheyu, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee, said that this year is the signing of the China Communist Youth League 90th anniversary, a number of strategic cooperation framework agreements, marking the upgrading of cooperation between Donghua University and universities and enterprises in Xinjiang.


    Using summer practice to serve the community


    "Although the summer social practice has been suspended for a while, many projects of government industry, University, research and development have just begun, and the Institute will try to achieve the fruits of research and practice as much as possible."
