The First Mongolian Costume Exhibition In Eight Provinces And Regions Was Grandly Opened In Xilingol

As an important activity of the second "Paradise Grassland Xilingol · Nadam" grand event, the opening ceremony of the first eight provinces and regions Mongolian costumes exhibition was held in the afternoon of August 6 at the Genghis Khan Statue Square in Xilingol Cultural Park. At the opening ceremony, powerful delegations from eight provinces and regions, namely Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Hebei, Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang, brought unique Mongolian costumes to tourists from all directions. These costumes either reflect tribal characteristics, highlight local craft design, or show the blend of traditional and modern culture. More than 200 costumes exhibited were vividly interpreted by models from various provinces and regions.

Xilingol League is known as the "Capital of National Costumes", with a long history and profound connotation of costume culture. It has successfully hosted the second and eighth Chinese Mongolian Costume Arts Festival and Mongolian Costume Competition and many other large-scale events. This exhibition activity not only further promoted the cultural exchange between Xilingol League and the eight provinces and regions, but also showed and carried forward the Mongolian clothing culture to the world.

In recent years, Xilingol League has held various attractive and influential brand festival activities for many years in succession, realizing that tourists can watch and participate in festival activities every day in the prosperous tourism festival. In 2011, at the second China National Festival Summit co sponsored by the Chinese Anthropology and Ethnology Research Association and the International Festival Association (IFEA), Xilingol League's "Paradise Grassland Xilingol Nadam", "Colorful Ujimqin Grassland Folk Custom Festival", and "China Yuan Shangdu Cultural Tourism Festival" won the most influential festival awards in the world; "Riding a Horse across the Grassland Tourism Theme Activity" won the festival award of the most innovative value.
