Color matching is the combination of two or more colors, or a small number of colors in addition to the main color palette, to form a color combination. When preparing the color ink before use, first expose the color to be prepared on the color sample separately, and correctly distinguish whether the original (or original) color is primary color, intermediate color, or duplicate color. If it is intermediate color or complex color, it is necessary to distinguish the proportion of the main color and the secondary color.

Secondly, it is necessary to adjust the sample according to the color indicated by the original. When compared with the original, the color difference is small or equal, it can be mixed in large quantities. The time should be short and the adjustment amount should be appropriate. Too little adjustment, resulting in downtime, ink color difference, affecting the normal production; Too much will cause unnecessary waste.

Ink mixing is usually carried out in places where the light is stable or not directly irradiated.

Pay attention to three points when mixing silk screen ink:

a. When matching ink, try to add less ink of different colors. The fewer types of color ink, the better the mixing effect.

b. The principle of "from light to deep" is adopted. Whether light color or bright color ink is prepared, be careful when the color is close to the template. The inks produced by different manufacturers should not be mixed, and the inks of different colors from the same manufacturer should be used as far as possible for color mixing, otherwise the color tone will be uneven, and in serious cases, the ink will be condensed and scrapped.

c. Some silk screen inks are dried by drying, light colour After drying, it is lighter than that without drying, and dark color is darker after drying.

In addition, it is easy to ignore whether the ink tone is different before and after drying during printing. Generally speaking, through natural drying (solvent volatile ink), the substrate is plastic, metal, paper, glass, etc., and the color will not change; However, if the pigment is used for ceramics, it can only be colored by experience because it is developed after burning and oxidation. As for the silk screen printing ink dried by heat setting and light setting, the color varies in depth, as mentioned above. When the ink mixing volume is large, the ink mixing machine can be used to complete the color mixing in a short time.

Crude ink can be mixed in different proportions to produce many colors of ink.

The deployment of light color ink is generally based on white ink, and appropriate color ink is used. Such as light blue, mainly white ink, slightly blue (cyan); Light red, mainly white ink, slightly red; Gray, mainly white ink, slightly black; Silver gray, mainly white ink, with a little silver powder and a little black ink. Prepare light color silk screen printing ink（ Printing stock ）, white ink should be added as little as possible, because white ink has high activity and is easy to cause discoloration of other colors.
