    Unlike the Expo Plaza, Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center is mainly based on clothing retail. There are 500 booths in the exhibition area. Both the local clothing and the clothing and accessories exhibition area of 32 cities in Dalian attract many people to participate in it. We all want to be here "Taobao".


    The Expo will be the first international fashion week in China this year.

    The Dalian International Garment Fair was founded in 1988, and is the first fashion exhibition in China. In 1991, it first attracted overseas exhibitors to become the first international fashion exhibition in China. In 1996, it used two new exhibition pavilions and old exhibition pavilions, with a total exhibition area of 40 thousand square meters in 1996. It became the largest clothing exhibition in China. In 2002, it became the first clothing exhibition to be certified by international authoritative exhibition agencies. In 2006, after the approval of the State Council, it has been upgraded and renamed as China (Dalian) International Garment and Textile Exposition, ranking among the national exhibitions.


    In the past 23 years, the Dalian Clothing Fair has started from a local clothing fair. In the course of exploration and innovation, it has constantly upgraded the level of internationalization and specialization, and has rapidly developed into a famous fashion exhibition at home and abroad.

    Each participating country maintains about 20 countries. Overseas exhibitors are nearly half of the total area. There are more than 10000 Chinese and foreign manufacturers from more than 50 countries and regions, and about 900 thousand traders from more than 100 cities in Europe, Asia, North America, Africa and the mainland of China.


    This exhibition focuses on the functional positioning of "important platforms for overseas brands to enter the Chinese market, the release window of fashion creativity and popular trends, the promotion and incubation of domestic independent brands and the effective carrier to stimulate the local garment industry". It has organized 20 theme activities, namely, the opening ceremony, the series of activities of the fair and the first international fashion Wednesday.


    This year, under the situation of Europe's economic downturn, the Expo will extend the service function of the exhibition and enhance the confidence of overseas customers.

    Together with the Marche government of Italy, the 700 Italy Italy fashion lifestyle Pavilion will be set up. 18 brands will appear in the pavilion. With the Japanese consulate, the exhibition area will be planned for 750 square meters and the exhibition hall of Japanese fashion life will be launched.

    Northeast Asia international brand commodity trading center booth 1500 square meters, is the largest area of all booths. In recent years, through the clothing agent mode, Northeast Asia international brand commodity trading center has introduced more than 200 international brands to China. This time, they brought more than 50 brand-new brands such as Italy and Spain.

    South Korea's PARKLAND is nearly 600 square meters in area.


    At the same time, the canadian designer team, Taiwan Textile Development Association, Taiwan gloves trade unions and other institutions also carried out their outstanding brands during the same period, and the number of overseas brands exhibited exceeded the previous ones.

    As the core service item of the exhibition, business docking is always one of the important factors to attract businessmen to participate in the exhibition.


    At this exhibition, the organizing committee invited 30 thousand traders, buyers and professional spectators from 32 countries and more than 50 cities in the United States, Britain, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Japan and South Korea. The number of overseas businessmen increased by 30% over last year.


    At present, the growth of the garment industry's total economic volume must promote a new round of rapid growth with a new trading mode.

    In view of the current international economic situation, the organizing committee has planned many meetings according to the market demand, trying to provide platform, guidance and even ideological content for buyers and sellers from the aspects of docking between buyers and sellers, displaying seminars and so on.

    In the past, traders convened the meeting to seek trade opportunities on their own.

    At this exhibition, the organizing committee has innovated the mode of trade docking, worked hard on the effectiveness of docking, conducted detailed pre trade demand surveys, and enhanced the efficiency of docking and trading.


    The Dalian Garment Association organized a joint meeting of buyers and suppliers of suppliers and suppliers on the upstream and downstream of the apparel industry chain. It organized the "national industrial cluster brand and processing enterprise capacity docking" and the "China Clothing Technology Tour" into Dalian Pulandian with the China clothing association, Liaoning Provincial Economic Commission and the Pulandian municipal government.
