The washing conditions of many clothes washing labels require lower washing conditions, so many manufacturers will complain that the testing conditions are too strict.


    In fact, product standards are the basis for quality control. Just as the standards of foreign buyers are also used to ensure the quality of purchasing, the washing labels are for consumers to refer to, and the two are not contradictory.

    If size marking is not implemented in accordance with Chinese standards, it is not in accordance with Chinese national standards and can not be sold in the Chinese market.


    Secondly, China implements corresponding product standards for different product requirements, and the sale of non-standard products in the Chinese market is also illegal.

    But in foreign countries, the producers usually have strict quality requirements for their products. The trade parties generally use trade standards to monitor the quality of products. Few products are standardized by national uniform product standards.


    Third, at present, the "pH value and color fastness requirement" is a common problem in the quality supervision and inspection of China's textile and apparel market.

    Relatively speaking, China's relevant standards for textile and clothing pH value and color fastness requirements, may be stricter than foreign market monitoring requirements.

    As a matter of fact, there is no mandatory requirement for pH in the world at present, and the pH value of textile extract is slightly higher or slightly lower, which can be corrected by simple treatment.

    With regard to color fastness, the implementation of uniform and strict standards may bring some difficulties to some personalized designs.


    Yang Ping also believes that if imported clothing is sold in the domestic market, it must first comply with the mandatory standards of China, and then meet the final product standards identified by the product.

    The industry should popularize the mandatory standard GB5296.4-1998 "instructions on the use of textiles and clothing for consumer goods," and attach importance to the conformity of product labels.


    Standardization of labels can promote development


    If foreign brands want to enter the Chinese market, how can they meet the requirements of China's quality standards as soon as possible? "First, understand the requirements of learning China's standardization system and related product standards. Secondly, recruiting professionals from this field to understand and familiarizes the relevant processes is also an error."

    Wang Jianping believes that the most important thing is that when a clothing product enters the Chinese market, we must understand China's supervision system and operation process for the quality of imported products, and establish a smooth communication and coordination mechanism with the relevant regulatory authorities.

    For the future development trend, Wang Jianping believes that the setting of product standards should be simplified properly.
