Among them, 4 men's shoes and 1 women's shoes could decompose harmful aromatic amine dyes.

The Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau has instructed the relevant quality supervision bureau at the prefecture level or above to deal with the unqualified products and their production enterprises found in the special supervision and spot checks according to the relevant laws and regulations.

Guangdong Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau sampled 212 batches of footwear products produced by 185 enterprises, and failed to test 34 batches. It involved 9 items such as hook hardness, hook bending stiffness, free formaldehyde, sensory quality, wear resistance of the outer bottom, decomposition of harmful aromatic amine dyes (banned azo dyes), folding resistance of shoes, peel strength of the bottom and pull strength of the upper, and so on.

Among them, 4 men's shoes and 1 women's shoes can decompose harmful aromatic amine dyes to exceed the standard.

Products that contain decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes can cause human diseases and induce cancer if they are exposed to human body for a long time.

Data show that decomposable aromatic amine mainly comes from azo dyes in clothing, which is often used by small and medium-sized textile and garment manufacturers.

Clothing, leather products, home furnishing materials.

In the unqualified list, the "Montagut men's leather shoes" produced by Guangzhou Meng Teng clothing and leather products Co., Ltd. are not qualified, and the unqualified items are peel strength and hook hardness of the bottom.

In addition, the "MiFi child shoes", "Pei Linda women's shoes", "Kaledo women's shoes" products also appear in the unqualified list, of which "MiFi child shoes" products involve free formaldehyde exceeding the standard.

A total of 7 batches of products were free of formaldehyde.

Inspection also found that 7 batches of mercerized cotton clothing products failed, involving fiber composition and content, printing resistance to rubbing color fastness, marking 3 items.

The unqualified list includes brands such as "Heng Guo", "Hai Lan home" and "GIORJASS".
