Ethiopia 07-08 Leather Products Export Growth In Fiscal Year

According to the Ethiopian Capital report, the total export of Ethiopia in the 07/08 fiscal year totaled 1 billion 500 million US dollars, up 25% from the same period last year, lower than the expected 16 to 1 billion 800 million US dollars at the beginning of the financial year.

Coffee is the most important product of Essex, 07/08 earned $525 million in the fiscal year, an increase of 23.8% compared to the same period last year, followed by oil crops 221 million US dollars, pea $150 million, flowers 112 million US dollars, hash grass 108 million US dollars, leather and products 101 million US dollars and gold 94 million US dollars.

Germany, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Holland and Japan are the main importers of Ethiopia products.

Ethiopia imported $4 billion 700 million in fiscal year 07/08, of which $3 billion 900 million was used for imports of industrial machinery and oil.
