It is understood that so far, the local seed cotton picking is close to 60%. At present, cotton farmers are picking more than 200 jin of seed cotton per mu. From the current seed cotton quality, about 80% of the seed cotton can reach the quality of white cotton grade 1 and 2, and the proportion of white cotton grade 3 is about 20%. This year's cotton quality is better than that of the same period last year. It is a foregone conclusion.

After the National Day holiday, the local cottonseed sales price rose quietly. On the 10th, the cottonseed sales price was 1.1-1.2 yuan/jin, up 0.05-0.15 yuan/jin compared with that before the holiday. It is estimated that every time the price of cottonseed increases by 0.05 yuan/jin, the cost price of purchasing and processing lint will decrease by about 150 yuan/jin on the premise that the percentage of cottonseed and cotton clothing and the purchase price are fixed, and cotton enterprises will pay, store and realize a small profit.

On the 10th, the local cotton enterprises quoted 4.8-4.9 yuan/jin for the purchase of white cotton grade 1 and 2 seed cotton with 44% lint percentage, 28mm fiber length and 8% moisture regain.
