Experts And Scholars Offer Advice On Stone Lions Development

Editor's note: in order to commemorate the reform and opening up 30th anniversary, to celebrate Shishi building 20th anniversary, our city held a scientific development strategy (Shishi) forum in November 8th.

In this forum, experts and scholars from all over the country reviewed and summarized the economic and social development of Shishi City in the past 20 years, and expressed their opinions and suggestions for the future development of Shishi.

The past, present and future of the stone lions, Zhu Youdi, director of the social development department of the State Council Research Office, I explained the reasons for the speeding development of Shishi from three aspects: "past", "present" and "future".

First, say "past".

Shishi is an important starting point for China's reform and opening up.

If there were not so many people coming from all quarters to carry clothes back from stone lions, there would be no good development of China's market economy.

This is a rare textbook.

Shishi's clothing market is not a "big catch up" in rural areas. What's valuable is that the market is closely linked with domestic and foreign markets.

Shi Shi started to take the road of integration of urban and rural areas from the beginning of the construction of the city, which is a good move made from the reality.

Shishi's experience is of great practical significance to China's vast rural areas.

Finally, say "future".

Shishi began to adjust its industrial structure several years ago.

It can be said that Shishi's capability of "earthquake resistance" is very strong. How to improve the city's "earthquake resistance" intensity is very important in the current social background.

All our cities must strive to resist earthquakes of magnitude six or eight.

Why Shishi has such a strong "seismic" capability, careful exploration can be found that Shishi's industrial structure is more complete, it is not completely introverted or completely extroverted.

In this "troubled times", Shi lion promptly captured the world's information and made rapid response, so the impact of the global financial crisis on Shishi was limited, and stone lions stood the test.

Li Chongyang, a professor of the Fujian Academy of Social Sciences, has the economic strength of twenty-second of the top 100 counties in the country. The index of GDP per capita, per capita financial income, urbanization level, per capita net income of farmers, disposable income of urban residents and other five indicators rank first in the province. These achievements contain the painstaking sweat and great wisdom of the Shishi people.

When I came to Shishi, I was delighted to find that the leaders and masses in Shishi had a sense of urgency. They had no sense of satisfaction and strong sense of crisis. They were all pursuing development and hoped to raise the stone lions to a higher stage of development.
