Suifenhe Port Footwear Exports Surge

The reporter learned from the Suifenhe entry exit inspection and quarantine bureau that as of November 1st, the 717 and 8 million 420 thousand pairs of shoes exported by Suifenhe port were worth 44 million 20 thousand US dollars, the quantity and the value of goods increased by more than 1 times than that of last year.

According to our understanding, footwear has always been a staple product exported to Russia by Suifenhe port.

In order to ensure effective supervision and promote substantial growth in exports, Suifenhe inspection and quarantine department, based on the characteristics of shoes purchased in the export market, innovating the supervision mode, and adopts the management mode of quality control records of warehouses, daily inspection and inspection by inspection and quarantine departments, and strengthens inspection and supervision.

Record the information related to product quality traceability, such as shoes manufacturer, brand, and sales area in Russia.

This year, Suifenhe entry-exit inspection and quarantine department sent 70 samples to the laboratory for testing azo dyes, peel strength, dry rubbing fastness, pH value, free formaldehyde content, pentachlorophenol, heavy metal ions and other items.

As of November, no PCP was detected in all samples. PH and free formaldehyde content all met the requirements of GB18401-2003 basic technical specification for national textile products. All the heavy metal ions were qualified. Azo dyes all met the requirements of the European Union standards.

Since the beginning of this year, there has been no return of shoes for export because of quality problems.
