Low level of towel usage exposes people's health awareness and hygiene concept. The research team examined the bacterial colonies of 167 pure cotton towels. The results showed that most of the towels contained Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, E. coli and other pathogens. Staphylococcus aureus often causes localized purulent infections such as incisions and trauma. It can also cause pneumonia, pseudomele colitis, pericarditis, and even systemic infection such as septicemia and sepsis. Escherichia coli, especially infants, often causes severe diarrhea and septicemia. Candida albicans causes diseases in invading cells when the body's immune function is low. Bad towel usage is a great threat to health. Then how should we use towels correctly?

"Towel dry is better than wet," the report said. "Towels are more likely to breed bacteria under wet conditions than dry conditions." "Domestic consumers have long service life and low frequency of replacement.
