Since December 2012, China Customs General Administration has opened up cities such as Shanghai, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Zhengzhou, Yantai, Pingtan, Harbin, Xi'an and Suifenhe as a pilot city for cross-border trade e-commerce.
The so-called cross-border e-commerce business refers to the import and export of cross-border trade in the form of e-commerce.
