The world's largest building complex and Exhibition complex, the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai), will be held in mid October for the first trial operation. All the exhibition centers in the centre will be put into operation since March 11, 2015.

How big is the venue of the exhibition industry?

The total indoor exhibition area of the New International Expo Center is 200 thousand square meters, and the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) is twice as large as 400 thousand square meters. The outdoor exhibition area is 100 thousand square meters, which is similar to the outdoor area of Shanghai New International Expo Center.

The use of (Shanghai) is like dropping bombs on the fertile soil of exhibition industry in Shanghai and even China.

Its appearance will have a huge impact on China's MICE industry.

Some of the exhibition venues in Shanghai and other cities in the country will be moved to the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai). From the current exhibition schedule of the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai), it has attracted exhibitions from Shanghai and other cities in the country.

However, we can see that many of the exhibitions that have been moved to the exhibition have not been able to hold up in the original exhibition center because of the rapid development. For example, the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition from Shanghai New International Expo Center and the China (Shanghai) International Furniture Fair will have an exhibition area of over 400 thousand square meters in 2015, as well as the China International Automobile Trade Fair from other cities, China International Medical Equipment Exposition and so on.

The 11 existing Convention and exhibition centers in Shanghai, before the Big Mac entered Hongqiao, did not know whether they had prepared well, and whether their respective target markets had been positioned well, and whether or not their advantages had been excavated.

Due to the limited space, many of our domestic exhibition venues are not complying with the problems. Therefore, I hope that not only Shanghai, but also the exhibition venues in the whole country need to compete with each other, highlight their strengths, learn from each other's strengths and work hard, so that we can develop together and make our Chinese exhibition business more internationalized, more professional and taller.
