Li Shiming, vice chairman of the National Federation of trade unions and Secretary of the Secretariat, pointed out at the joint meeting that the textile industry is a traditional pillar industry and an important livelihood industry in China. We must accurately grasp the new normal situation of China's economic development, actively support the adjustment of industrial structure, and adapt to the new requirements of safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
It is necessary to educate and guide workers' thinking to conform to the new situation, to meet new requirements, to conform to social norms, and to make contributions to building harmonious labor relations and speeding up industrial restructuring and innovation and development.

Under the new normal development of the textile industry, the implementation of the innovation driven development strategy lies in the full exploitation of human potential and the establishment of an ideal and skilled workforce. In order to build harmonious labor relations and achieve a win-win situation between enterprises and employees, China Federation of finance, trade, light textile and tobacco industry and China Textile Industry Federation have launched a series of activities around the spirit of promoting the spirit of model workers, collective bargaining and improving the quality of workers.
In 2014, the two sides jointly carried out investigation and research, excavated a batch of typical and exemplary characteristics of enterprise management innovation, collective wage consultation and quality improvement of workers, and jointly organized the national cotton textile industry "Dasheng Cup" through the professional skills competition, the Chinese printing and dyeing industry, "Xiqiao Cup" dyeing and finishing material preparation workers, vocational skills competition and other skills competition.
At the same time, we should further carry out the commendation activities for the selection of advanced teams and products and quality management.
For the first time, the two sides jointly launched the commendation activities of the Hao Jianxiu group's national textile advanced team selection, jointly organized the 2014 QC group commendation campaign, and nurtured a number of national workers pioneer, which has a positive impact in the society.
