Patti Cohen Resigns From DKI Global Marketing Executive Director
Patti Cohen has left Donna Karan International.
Over the past 30 years, Cohen has been the chief marketing and public relations director of Karan, and is also a close friend of Karan.
Karan
"I saw Patti for the first time on the Fire Island tennis court. Since then, she has been with me for over 30 years.
I hired her to work at Anne Klein II, and then she followed me to DKNY.
She is the red hair version of me. It's my personal and professional life.

I was very sad to leave, and I could not express my thoughts of her in words.
I will do everything possible to love her and support her.
Our friendship is not over.
She will always be my best friend, and we will always protect each other. "
In late April, DKI CEO Caroline Brown appointed Hector Muelas, former Apple Corp global public relations and marketing director, as the company's chief image officer.
At that time, Brown told WWD that the role of Cohen would be adjusted to executive vice president of global public relations, after which Cohen was vice president of global market communications.
Last Friday, Brown said leaving his job was Cohen's personal decision.
"I convey to her the appreciation of the whole company, and we all recognize her excellent working ability.
As the right-hand man of Donna, Patti has worked in the company for more than 30 years.
We think she is the main hero behind Donna's outstanding performance. "
After winning the knowledge of tennis after fate, Karan recommended Cohen to Anne Klein to work as a freelance. Then, when she launched her personal brand in the autumn of 1985, Cohen joined it as DKI's first employee and ultimately managed marketing, advertising and public relations matters.
15 years later, Cohen left the company, but returned four months later, mainly because her successor did not perform well.
"We realize that there is only one Patti in the world," Karan said at the time.
"And today's reality is that Patti has to take a good vacation."
Cohen seems unlikely to return to DKI three degrees.
"It has been a wonderful journey for me," she said.
Now, I will uncover a new chapter in my life.
