From the childhood environment, ELENA MARCHESINI has become an indissoluble bond with fashion.
20 years of experience in the fashion industry, and 10 years of experience in the Chinese market, made her fully aware of the skillful combination of Italy handcrafts and Chinese aesthetics.
More importantly, she knows how to simultaneously grasp the trend of internationalization and localization.
Q: apart from traveling and watching, you have to leave time to go out of the way. Do you still get inspiration and popular information?
A: there are a lot of ways to get information now, not only in Europe, but also in China.
Tourism and exhibitions are great ways to draw inspiration.
Designer
It's a pleasure, not just a matter of energy.
The Internet is an endless source of information. Of course, we need to extract the information we really need.
In addition, there are all kinds of blogs, trend websites and so on.
POP trend network is also a very good website. My favorite layout is about the analysis of the show. The website summarizes the important theme elements on the T platform and interprets them in a very practical way.
What are the advantages of Q:IDEM in the industry? What famous brands have been served?
A: first of all, it has been 10 years since the establishment of Italy. The situation of China's fashion industry is quite different now. At that time, the demand of garment enterprises was different and consumers were different.
Our cooperation with many customers has been very smooth and enjoyable.
For me, one of my most proud partners is Taiping bird dress.
Taiping bird has a very young and dynamic design team. When working with Italy, they are in a pition period, not only in style but also in the pformation of terminal image and sales level.
We feel the confidence and expectation of the whole team for this change.
As a matter of fact, they finally succeeded in the pformation. Other partners such as: song, V-grass, blue and so on are all in China.
Garment industry
A very strong brand.
Q: in 2010, you set up the ELENA dress ATELIER MARCHESINI brand. The IDEM has very rich experience in garment brand design and service. Why did you choose to make a high definition brand instead of your own garment brand?
A: actually, it is related to my personal growth experience.
When I was young, in 70s, the most prosperous era of fashion industry in Italy, and in 60s, I am proud to say that the garment manufacturing industry was born in Italy. Before 60s, people tailored clothes to tailors.
My city is also one of the most important fashion industries in Italy, so for me, fashion is like being integrated into my blood. My mother, my aunts, and my mother's friends have worked in the fashion industry.
Therefore, from childhood, I received the edification of this environment.
During summer vacation, I always learn to sew and embroider with them, so the love for fashion and handmade customization comes from raw materials.
In addition, I think Gao Ding is a free artistic creation, because it is free, because it has no limitations. The only thing you need to consider is to create a suit that suits your customers' taste and can make their customers improve their value, so that they can become more beautiful.
As we mentioned in the "slow fashion", there is no time and money constraints, only to increase the value of clothing in the hearts of customers.
Q: out of date, it is terrible in the fashion industry. People even feel that it is more unacceptable to be outdated than ugly. How do you feel about this?
A: indeed, there are such phenomena in China: people always want the latest and most popular things, especially in an international metropolis like Shanghai.
It's very important for our designers to have a style of their own. You can turn the "old clothes" out of the box for a long time, with the most popular fashion elements of the new season, which can be matched with the style of the original personality.
In addition, in China, the so-called "fashion reincarnation" has gradually begun. Europe has undergone more than ten years of fashion reversion, that is, what has been popular before, through the cycle of time, designers will interpret them in a brand-new perspective through the evolution of social and cultural phenomena, and create them into hot fashion elements.
The same themes will never appear in the same way, and each time they are reincarnation, they will have a new look.
Soon after that, we will see people in the streets of China wearing fashionable clothes in 90s, but they will be displayed in a new way of interpretation.
Therefore, I believe that in the near future, the term "obsolete" will also have a completely different way of reading.
Q: can current European and American market performance predict the next trend?
A: what is popular in Europe now is "extremely simple wind". Natural materials and natural colors are mainly light colors, white, gold and so on.
In the profile, we pursue the concept of deconstruction.
Then, from the latest show, we can see very clearly the luxury from 70s. There are a lot of leather, including color, profile and fabric, which are very rich in 70s.
