According to UNICEF data, there are about 1 million child laborers aged 10 to 14 in Bangladesh, and the actual figure may be even higher.

A child sits at his desk and discharges extra needles from blue jeans.

These child laborers work 6 and a half days a week and start working from dawn till dawn, but they can only get very low wages.

    There are many security risks.

Due to the lack of wires, electronic safety standards and basic fire safety awareness, most of the irregularities in Bangladesh have fire hazards.

In 2013, a fire broke out in a garment factory in the suburbs of Dhaka, killing more than 1100 people. This is also the worst accident in the Bangladesh garment industry.

    These informal factories produce.

    Clothing

It will soon be shipped to all parts of the world.

On November 30th, photographer Claudio Montesano Casilas (Claudio Montesano Casillas) recently entered the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka.

Thousands of child laborers have been photographed.

These factories have no business rules, and child labor is about 20 pence a day (about 2 yuan).

They eat, bathe and sleep in factories, and have only half a day's rest each week.

These factories mainly produce clothes for local and India markets, and also obtain international famous brand clothing contracts through subcontracting. It is very difficult for these big companies to know where their clothes are produced.

Casilas's photo shows that these factories lack safety control measures, and the children who work here are living very hard.

They work overtime every day, sewing labels on clothes.

The picture shows children working in a crowded and messy factory building.

Casilas accidentally entered the local garment factory and was instantly shocked by the harsh environment inside.

This irregular factory has 15 sewing machines, no emergency safety exit, fire safety plan or fire extinguisher, and no fire and building safety assessment.

Children do not have time to go to school. They work on embroidery, sewing labels, sticking sequins, cleaning machines and so on every day.

Casilas said: "in these factories, child laborers work 6 and a half days a week. From dawn to dusk, they can only receive very low wages.

They sleep in factories or in rental rooms next to factories.

Most of them come from rural areas and seek better life in cities.

But after that, they found that they could barely support themselves.
