Shandong inspection and Quarantine Bureau announced that recently, the Yantai inspection and Quarantine Bureau found in a batch of imported children's clothing in Indonesia that 164 (82 sets) and 235.17 dollars worth of imported "UniFriend" brand children's clothing detected a decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dye (2,4 - two amino toluene), with a detection value of 27mg/kg and 64mg/kg, exceeding the mandatory standard of our country.

The formaldehyde content detection method was carried out in accordance with the national standard GB/T2912.1-2009 "first determination of formaldehyde in textiles, free and hydrolyzed formaldehyde (water extraction method)", and whether it was in accordance with the requirements of category GB18401-2010 in the national basic safety technical specification for textile products.
After inspection, there are 6 products with formaldehyde content exceeding the standard. The trademark involves baby good, Hebao, San Le, Flykids, Xing Bao Le, Jin Ming. These substandard products mainly come from online shop.
