Q:2016/17 autumn winter series, what is the design theme? Where does inspiration come from?

A: the Chinese character "double" is the theme of this design. The inspiration comes from the degree of marital happiness. I used a negative approach to put forward a question about marriage.

I have used some very Chinese elements in the design, such as the theme of "this" and the color of Chinese red.

Q: in an interview, you said, "every show is topic specific because it's about doing what you like now." can you simply tell us what new ideas will be in Fashion Week this year?

A: Yes, I do every show not for the sake of topic, nor have I ever thought of any topic, but simply for doing what I like, and I think to do a job.

A theme must be used, and then the theme will be displayed through clothing in the simplest, most direct and intuitive way along with the theme.

I think Mercedes Benz China International Fashion Week is really a good stage for designers to show their ideas here.

The most important thing for our designers is to have a personalized concept and a series of works that can represent one's own.

The latest design series is to express my views on the present marriage through the way of designing my own clothes, and I also use some ironic techniques to question the traditional marriage.

Q: what do you think is the relationship between costume design and behavior art?

A: I think the fashion designer is an acting artist, and a painting like oil painting will show the author's idea and mentality at the canvas with paints brushes. For the fashion designer, it is to show his ideas, design ideas and views on some things through fabric, cutting, design, model and music, so I think the fashion designer is an acting artist.

Q: how do you understand fashion?

A: fashion is a very personalized thing, and fashion has different views for everyone. In different places, different people can see different fashions.
