PFI Group: Ingenuity Interprets The Essence Of "Made In Germany"

PFI, a German research and testing agency, is the Pierre Mason J testing and Research Institute, or PFI. The main thing is to help companies do product testing, inspection, certification, training and technological improvement.

PFI (Pierre Mason J Institute for testing and Research) is built under this background.

In 1957, the German Leather Association and the footwear industry representatives jointly proposed the establishment of PFI.

The initial task was to test leather, rubber and adhesives in various materials, components and auxiliary materials involved in the footwear industry.

Confidence: from industry consulting experts to world-class authoritative certification bodies

In the 60-70 decade of the twentieth Century, the business scope of PFI gradually expanded: from shoemaking to business certification and industrial research.

Due to the improvement of service level and technology level, PFI began to become a professional testing and research organization at the national level in Germany, and many of its business mainly came from the national level projects of the German government and EU Member States.

In addition to testing, PFI continues to initiate and undertake relevant research projects in the footwear industry.

As early as the beginning of 1970s, the organizational structure of PFI has already been included in the Department of chemistry, physics and engineering, and expanded to information technology and electrical engineering in the late 80s.

The expansion of these fields also enables PFI to provide technical consulting services and provide third party consulting experts in disputes such as insurance claims and so on.

Over time, PFI has become an authoritative expert in the field of detection in the world, and has become a core spokesperson in many important international symposiums. It has promoted the improvement of international testing research level through organizing forums, business exchanges, and releasing core technologies.

At the same time, many PFI technical experts also serve as lecturers in the German footwear design and science academy and applied science, and continue to make progress in theoretical research and product practice.

Germany will publish thousands of industry standards every year, 90% of which will be drawn from or adopted directly by European countries and other countries in the world.

PFI has German national qualification, that is to say, the certification level of PFI and its testing standards and production standards have also reached the universal standards in the world.

Ambition: set up 7 offshore subsidiary to develop renewable energy sources

With the increasing influence of PFI in the world, the services provided by PFI have become an indispensable rocket booster for the development of many world-class enterprises.

In order to better serve customers in different countries and regions, PFI began to set up subsidiaries overseas, including PFI (Far East), PFI (Hongkong), PFI (Middle East), and so on in 2005.

Long term project research has made PFI group aware of the important role of environmental protection energy in manufacturing industry. The PFI Biotechnology Department has started to operate independently to promote renewable bioenergy instead of non renewable resources, such as converting biogas into industrial electricity to save energy and oil and coal.

With the establishment of the PFI biotechnology Limited by Share Ltd, PFI will also have a big role in the promotion and application of biotech energy.

The PFI led "electricity to gas plant" project will further expand and protect the human environment to a greater extent.

Even though it has developed into an international group company, PFI has not neglected its start business - shoe related material testing.

In 2007, PFI group set up the Pierre Mason J international footwear technology center (ISC), focusing on training and research of suppliers and traders in shoemaking industry.

PFI, located in Fujian, China, is the only subsidiary of PFI in mainland China.

Fujian is the birthplace of sports shoes and the major export province of shoes and clothing. Many international first-line shoes and clothing brands are here to produce orders, and the PFI (Far East) is designated as the third party testing service provider. Only the product qualification certificates issued by PFI can be recognized by these international brands.
