In July 12th, the seventeenth China Textile and clothing trade fair was opened in New York.
More than 1000 exhibitors from China, the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea and Japan participated in the exhibition, including clothing, costumes, accessories and home textiles.

Zhang Qiyue told reporters that it is far from enough to rely on the original low-end price advantage for Chinese products to truly enter the US market.
"The most competitive way is to rely on technology input, increase the high-tech content of products, and independently design the consumption habits of the US market and enter the high-end market."
Jiangyin Hengliang Textile Co., Ltd. has participated in New York Exhibition for 6 years in a row. The US market accounts for about 1/3 of the company's export share.
This year, the company's latest research and development of exquisite denim fabrics is brought by the constant bright textile.
The fabric is developed in collaboration with Jiangnan University, and its indicators are more stable and feel more flexible and comfortable between weft knitted and woven fabrics.

Zhang Qiyue expressed a strong interest in this new denim fabric. She said Americans are very fond of cowboys, and the garments made of this new denim fabric will be more popular in summer.
General Manager Hong Liang is very confident in the market feedback of this product. His bottom line comes from the product itself.
"Intensive denim production is more efficient, weaving process is more flexible, faster to meet customer needs, I believe we will open the market in North America."
He said.
The exhibition has just opened, and professionals from the textile and garment industries from all over the world have begun to scrutinize the venue and make notes from time to time.
According to reports, the pre registration audience of the exhibition has a large increase, of which the pre registration of the fabric has increased by 25%, the clothing has increased by 44%, and the home textile has increased by 26%.
Exhibitors are very confident about the New York exhibition.

Gao Yong, vice president of the China Textile Industry Federation, said in an interview that although the global textile industry has been under great pressure in recent years, China's textile industry has been developing in the face of adversity, and many Chinese clothing brands have entered the international high-end market.
Such as: Jiangnan Buyi has opened 38 shops in more than 10 countries and regions such as Japan, France and Russia, and Bosideng has been selling in more than 400 middle and high-end brand collection stores in 8 countries.
Vice President Gao Yong said: "under the negative growth of China's foreign trade exports, China's clothing exports to the United States continue to grow, which is the only major export market for clothing in Europe and Japan.
In order to better integrate the US market with Chinese manufacturers, the exhibition will eventually become the ultimate consumer market country. This year's exhibition will be more marketable, and the proportion of outdoor clothing and sportswear will be greatly improved.
Gao Yong said that China's textile exports have been reduced by factors such as rising domestic labor costs and devaluation of settlement currencies.
Customs data show that in 2015, China exported $291 billion 100 million of textile and clothing, down 4.8% compared to the same period last year.
The domestic high-end consumer demand can not be well satisfied, and China's textile industry is still facing many challenges.
In addition, Gao Yong pointed out that the main reason for the decline of China's textile exports is that many domestic textile enterprises have shifted their production base to Southeast Asia because of the rising labor costs in China.
"In recent years, there are two fastest growing textile exporting countries, one is Bangladesh, the other is Vietnam, and these two countries are the most investment countries in China's textile industry."
He explained that from the perspective of investment return, the traditional labor-intensive enterprises had relatively low profit margins and relatively high return on investment projects with high technology content.
The senior vice president said that at present, China's textile industry still has a certain gap with the advanced level of foreign countries in terms of brand and design in the research and development of new and high performance products, but these differences are not too big.
The textile industry in the future will focus on technology input, high-performance research projects and international brand cultivation, and strive to turn to the strong textile industry.
The seventeenth China Textile and garment trade fair, which is held for three days, is sponsored by the China Federation of textile industry. The textile industry association of China Council for the promotion of international trade is responsible for the exhibition with the Frankfurt Exhibition (US) company.
