Today, one of the team's designers, Maja Weiss from Yugoslavia, will participate in the 2017 spring and summer Copenhagen International Fashion Show (CIFF) in an individual name and present a special project called "Second Fashion Cycle" (second fashion cycle).

The "Second Fashion Cycle" will start with a series of links such as clothing design, production and so on, so as to explain a series of problems arising from the traditional fashion and garment industry in today's society, so as to further explore the design of recyclable fabrics and sustainable design.

"Since its establishment in 2014, Vetement has achieved great success in just two years, and their doubts about the existing fashion industry have made us face up to the problems that exist in this industry. The fashion show in Copenhagen welcomes the participation of Maja Weiss and expects her to show her attitude through this special project," said Kristian W. Andersen, director of fashion and Design Department of Copenhagen fashion show.

The 34 year old Maja Weiss was born in the former Republic of Yugoslavia. After finishing her textile and fashion design course at University of Ljubljana, she went to Belgium and began to continue her studies at the famous Royal College of Art in Antwerp.

After graduating in 2010, Maja Weiss worked in Y-Project, Bruno Pieters and other brands, and met Demna Gvasalia in 2014, and then participated in the creation of Vetements.
