The Supplier Refused To Disclose Supply Chain Information Under The Pretext Of "Privacy".

In September of this year, the Gap Inc. Inc. group disclosed its supplier information, which has 1083 supplier factories worldwide, including 968 in Greater China, South Asia and Southeast Asia, and a small number of factories in Europe and North America.
According to the information disclosed by Gap Inc., the factory environment of the three major supply chain markets is far less than that of Europe and North America.
Gap Inc. Cape group divided the supply chain factories into four grades: Dark Green, Light Green, Yellow, Red, respectively, from good to bad, Excellent, Good, Fair, and Excellent.
Take the 308 factories in the Greater China market in 2014, for example, Dark Green, Light Green, Yellow and Red were four rated factories, accounting for 8.1%, 36%, 34.4% and 21.4% respectively.
The supply chain factories in China are slightly better than those in Kampuchea, Burma and Vietnam in Southeast Asia. In 2014, the Gap Inc. Yellow group had 331 factories, and the Yellow and Red level factories in Southeast Asia accounted for 41.4% and 22.7% respectively.

The 33 page "Investigative Report on the Working Conditions in UNIQLO" s China Suppliers (UNIQLO China supply chain work environment survey report) is listed in the survey report. It lists four sins of China supply chain, including: long working hours, low basic wages, high-risk and unsafe working environment, management style, severe punishment, no trade union and workers representative organizations.
For SACOM's report, the Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. fast marketing group issued a statement in English, simplified and traditional Chinese, saying that it attached great importance to the above problems. However, according to the survey results, "I am very sorry to find that some of the problems in the report that the two factories involve overtime work are indeed facts."
