According to customs statistics, in the 1-4 months of this year, Shishi exported 2 billion 600 million yuan of textile and clothing, an increase of 29.17% over the same period last year, accounting for 60.34% of the total trade volume of Shishi in the same period.

According to analysis, since February this year, Shishi's textile and clothing exports have maintained an increase of three consecutive months.
Exports in April were 547 million yuan, an increase of 23.99% over the same period last year. General trade exports accounted for an absolute position. In 1-4 months, Shishi exported 2 billion 599 million yuan of textile and clothing in general trade mode, an increase of 29.38%, accounting for 99.99% of the total value of textile and garment exports in Shishi in the same period. Private enterprises accounted for the leading export. In 1-4 months, the export of textile and clothing by Shishi private enterprises was 2 billion 441 million yuan, 41.60% percent, 93.89%, foreign-invested enterprises exported 150 million yuan, and state-owned enterprises exported to 93.89% yuan.
The EU, ASEAN and Middle East countries are still the main export markets for Shishi. In 1-4, Shishi exported 536 million yuan to the Middle East countries for textile and clothing, 2.34% yuan, exported 408 million yuan to ASEAN, increased 85.95%, and exported 371 million yuan to the European Union.
At present, under the macro background such as the pformation of industrial structure and the rising cost of labor, the labor intensive industries such as textile and clothing have shifted to the areas where production costs such as Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa and other labor and land are less expensive, making textile and garment exports relatively without the price advantage, resulting in a large number of export orders pferred to Southeast Asian countries, which has increased the export pressure of enterprises.
At the same time, the escalation of trade barriers has also affected the export of textile and clothing.
In recent years, trade protectionism has been revival in various countries, and the form of trade barriers has been constantly renovated.
Developed countries such as Europe and the United States have issued a series of new laws and regulations, and the latest eco textile standards newly adopted by the international environmental protection textile association.
These requirements are increasingly stringent in terms of safety, hygiene, environmental protection and other aspects of clothing products, and affect textile to a certain extent.
