China Textile Alliance: Basic Research Is The Foundation Of Building A Strong Textile And Technology Country In The World

Recently, textile and light 2018 China Textile Industry Federation science and Technology Education Award conference was held in Beijing.

Li Lingshen, vice president of China Textile Federation, pointed out in the conference that we should give full play to the leading role and strategic support of scientific and technological innovation in industrial development.

Li Lingshen introduced that since the 40 years of reform and opening up, China's textile technology has gone through the following three stages: "follow up" to "follow up and run" and then to "coexist with running, running and leading" simultaneously.

Although great progress has been made, there is still a certain gap between China's textile technology level and the developed countries. The technological innovation capability is relatively weak compared with that of the world's textile and technological power, and there is no fundamental change in the situation of some industries' core technology and source technology being controlled by others.

Li Lingshen pointed out that we should strengthen the top-level design of textile technology and enhance the ability of independent innovation.

Specifically, we should aim at the forefront of world textile technology, closely meet the development needs of the textile industry, strengthen basic research and focus on original innovation, and strive to break through a number of key technologies in the textile industry in the three stages of basic research, application research and trial development of R & D activities.

He said that basic research is the source of science and technology, the fundamental way to enhance original innovation ability, and the foundation of building a strong textile and technological power in the world.

Li Lingshen pointed out that through scientific and technological innovation, efforts should be made to achieve China's textile science and technology level entering the ranks of the world's textile science and technology by the year 2020. By 2025, China's textile technology innovation and technological progress level and comprehensive strength have entered the forefront of the world's textile and technological power.
