Off-White Advocate The Establishment Of The Same Name Brand Virgil Abloh To Demonstrate Its Cross-Border Capabilities.
Designer Virgil Abloh once again showed his crossover ability to fashion circles.
Now he is not only a street street Off-white director, creative director of Louis Vuitton men's clothing and creative consultant of Evian mineral water, but also created a new brand named Virgil Abloh.
The first series of Virgil Abloh brands is a series inspired by paper clips.
In January 14th, Abloh released a photo in Instagram, which is a box with Virgil Abloh brand name called "return box". The box reads "Recycled Jumbo Paper Clips" (recyclable giant clip).
A few hours later, Abloh released another photo in Instagram, which he wore with a Pin Necklace and other bracelets.
A user named uzi.mustafa commented on this map, "brother, I guess this necklace costs 2000 dollars."

In an interview with the women's wear daily, Abloh said he plans to display the same name brand jewelry series and Off-white's latest handbags and sneakers in Paris fashion week. The time is from January 17th to 29th, and the location is "Floral Shop" (Florist) at the flash shop of coaster hotel in Paris, which will support the reservation then.
Abloh said that the new brand series does not have much to do with the Off-white brand itself.

In July 2017, Off-white and the American jeweler Jacob the Jeweler jointly launched a joint gold gold clip.

This time, Abloh also wrote the "Jacob" in the attached text in the new brand map released by Instagram. It is not clear that the Jacob actually came from the jewelers who had worked with Off-white, but it was only taken from a common man name, the son of Isaac, the Bible.

Like paper clips, not just Abloh, many luxury brands have introduced paper clips, including Prada, Tiffany and Bvlgari.
The price is not cheap, the Prada clip is priced at 185 dollars, the Tiffany clip is priced at 1500 dollars, and the Bvlgari clip is asking for 265 dollars.
For Abloh, the paper clip seems to be a slightly repetitive creation, but this is still another attempt to cross the border.
Off-white and IKEA have jointly launched a joint series with carpets, shoes and chairs. Four of the limited edition carpets were just launched by enthusiastic fans.
Off-white has also launched a joint series of "Elevator Music" with fragrance brand Byredo, offering products including perfume, hand cream, handbag jeans and so on.

"My idea is not to stay in a box," Abloh told the women's wear daily. Her favorite flower is kapok. "When I'm old and don't want to continue working, I'll open a florist in a remote town."
