This forum aims to give full play to the leading role of the national industrial design center in the field of textile and garment in promoting the integration of technology and fashion, brand building and quality improvement, so as to promote the innovation and development of the industry.

The conference held an exchange on the construction and development of the national industrial design center, and discussed how to improve the design ability of the textile and garment industry, enhance the design level of silk industry, and build the national industrial design and Research Institute of the textile and garment industry.

Based on the actual development of enterprises, the participants analyzed and discussed the necessity and urgency of the construction of the industrial design center in textile industry from many aspects, such as the status quo of the industry, design center construction, brand building, innovative design personnel training, independent technological innovation, design achievement pformation, intellectual property protection, financial support, policy support, problems and difficulties.

It is understood that the Ministry of industry and information technology formulated the "national industrial design center accreditation management method (Trial Implementation)" in 2012, and began to carry out the identification and management of the national industrial design center (industrial design enterprise) in the country since 2013.

As of 2017, there were 110 national industrial design centers identified by the Ministry of industry and information technology, of which 11 were textile industries.

At the meeting, director Qiao Yanjin introduced the cultivation and evaluation of the industrial design center of the textile industry.

She said that from 2015, the China Textile Corporation recommended to the Ministry of industry the textile industry enterprises to declare the national industrial design center.

To promote the development of China's textile industry design industry, since 2018, the China Textile Industry Federation's Productivity Promotion Department has taken the lead. According to the evaluation and management measures of the China Textile Industry Design Center (Trial), the textile industry's design center has been established and evaluated, and the first 11 Industrial design centers have been produced, laying a solid foundation for further recommendation of the national industrial design center's declaration work.
