Lushan County, located on the western edge of the Sichuan basin, currently has 19 textile enterprises, 17 of which are regulated enterprises, and the spinning and spindles have developed to about 800000 spindles, covering covering the categories of covering yarns, cotton spinning, weaving, and garment making, forming a relatively complete industrial chain. In 2018, the textile industry achieved an output value of 2 billion 800 million yuan, an increase of 26.13%, accounting for 42.87% of the total industrial output value of the whole county. In the past ten years, Lushan textile industry has been developing vigorously from scratch, especially after the "4. 20" post disaster reconstruction. It has invested 800 million yuan to build an industrial concentration area for post disaster reconstruction funds. At the same time, it has set up 300 million yuan industrial development guidance fund and 200 million yuan financing guarantee fund, constantly optimizing the service guarantee, strengthening investment promotion, and boosting the growth of the textile industry as the most important pillar industry of the county's industrial economy.

In January 2019, Lushan County Economic Development Zone was declared a provincial-level economic development zone successfully. Lushan County Economic Development Zone follows the general train of thought of "green low carbon", "moderately advanced", "high-end industry" and "integration of production and city". Since the reconstruction of the disaster area, the county Party committee and the county government have put the development platform of the textile park as the key point and invested 1 billion 700 million yuan. The park's water and electricity and other factors are guaranteed, infrastructure is complete, functions are matched, the environment is beautiful, and the comprehensive carrying capacity has been continuously upgraded to the level of the developed areas.

At present, Lushan has formed an industrial cluster that integrates cotton spinning, weaving, weaving and garment making. It is committed to building a textile industrial chain with a scale of not less than 50 thousand spindles, such as spinning, weaving, dyeing (traditional printing and dyeing), clothing and so on. It also spares no effort in building new textile materials, including new natural fibers, new regenerated fibers, differential fibers, high-performance fibers and functional fibers. Under the leadership of the government, Lushan county will usher in a new future in attracting foreign investment.
