Shanghai And Hong Kong Will Hold An International Conference On Fashion And Textile AI
Reporters recently learned from the "2019 Shanghai Textile Machinery Exhibition" news conference held in Shanghai that Shanghai and Hongkong will jointly hold the International Conference on fashion and textile artificial intelligence in Shanghai in November this year, and work together to promote the integration of Chinese and foreign textile fashion industry and AI technology.
It is understood that the partners of the conference are Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd., Ya style Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Polytech University. The meeting will be held on 25-27 November with the "2019 Shanghai Textile Expo" at the same time in Pudong, Shanghai.
Huang Weiqiang, Professor of textile and clothing department of Hong Kong Polytech University, introduced at the press conference that in the past twenty years, with the rapid development of computer technology, especially artificial intelligence technology, the textile fashion industry is ushering in the fourth industrial revolution, and the existing mature technology is facing further optimization and innovation. The International Conference on fashion and textile AI will aim at "research, application and popularization" and link academic research with industry to stimulate more new applications and new opportunities of AI in textile fashion industry.
The key themes of the conference include the Internet of things, modeling of textile and garment supply chain, smart textile and clothing, wearable devices, 3D modeling and virtual fitting, focusing on the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence for the textile and fashion industry. Universities and institutions in related fields will also set up artificial intelligence alliance in Shanghai, which will serve the integration of Chinese and foreign textile fashion industry and AI technology for a long time.
