Textile Fiber Carding Workers And Other 46 National Vocational Skills Standards Promulgated

Recently, the Ministry of human resources and social security promulgated 46 new national skills standards for textile fiber carding workers. The 46 occupations of the standard are all the sixth categories of "manufacturing and related personnel" of the People's Republic of China occupational classification code (2015 Edition), which are mainly concentrated in textile, light industry, printing, metallurgy, machinery, power and other manufacturing fields.

China has become the largest manufacturing country with all industrial sectors. Manufacturing industry occupies a pivotal position in China's economy. Manufacturing enterprises absorb a large number of labor force employment. The promulgation of the standard is a comprehensive level of professional knowledge and operational skills in the field of manufacturing, which is the basis for guiding and standardizing vocational education training and vocational skills evaluation, and will play an important role in promoting the quality of practitioners in the field of manufacturing.

Since 2018, the Ministry of human resources and social security has issued the two batch of national vocational skills standards development plan, and launched the revision and development work of 198 skills vocational standards in the national occupational qualification list. According to the requirements of the national technical standards for vocational skills (2018 Edition), combined with the level of technological development and technological innovation of related professions, 89 national vocational skills standards have been revised and promulgated after drafting, preliminary examination, preliminary examination, soliciting opinions, revisions, final examinations and promulgation. With the 46 standards promulgated, the Ministry of human resources and social security has revised and promulgated 135 national vocational skills standards.
