    From 60 sewing machines and 70 employees in 2007 to 4 self owned OPA bases, strong overseas collaborative quality factories and 3000 employees, how did Laponi develop so quickly in a short time?

    Some people say that it is Laponi's own quick response flexible supply chain system. Others say that it is Laponi's team's insistence on the idea of innovation and innovation. What is the answer?

    At the beginning of December 2019, we interviewed Laponi, chairman Chen Kaien, with these questions.

    Reporter: starting from the "small family workshop", how did you develop and successfully upgrade to a high quality clothing manufacturer in China?

    Chen Kaien: I do not think that there is ever a success in the world. I spent a lot of effort on how to build a high quality garment manufacturing enterprise. I can share briefly from the following aspects.

    The first is Customer perspective , The products produced by our quality manufacturing enterprises must be geared to customers, in addition to providing quality assurance to consumers, and ensuring accurate service to customers within the prescribed time.

    The second is Rules and regulations , "No rules, no Cheng Fangyuan". It is the same thing to build a good company. We must have a sound rules and regulations. For example, in our whole production process, we should set up a set of perfect rules and regulations in all aspects of antenatal preparation, production process, and after-sale products, so as to make the production process safe and stable.

    The third is Employee Perspective We must not give employees too strong labor intensity. We should try our best to provide employees with a safe, stable, green and healthy environment. This will help employees to control product manufacturing. So as to effectively improve product efficiency and production quality.

    The fourth is Social resources perspective , We must minimize waste and damage to the social environment.

    Reporter: At present, all garment enterprises are actively making adjustments and upgrading in the field of intelligent manufacturing. What kind of role do you think intelligent manufacturing is playing in quality manufacturing?

    Chen Kaien: I think intelligent manufacturing is an important part of quality manufacturing. In the past, our understanding of intelligent manufacturing was machine substitution, and now I understand it. It can quickly capture market demand and meet this demand in time through effective production organization.

    Interviewer: what do you think is the construction of intelligent manufacturing?

    Chen Kaien: Built by machine automation, information technology and technology accumulation, it must be orderly and ensure that all information is interworking in all aspects of production.

    I think before and after the industry and the supply chain. Rapid collaborative development is a core part of intelligent manufacturing. It is also part of what we are exploring now.

    Interviewer: what kind of deployment have you made in the process of exploring intelligent manufacturing?

    Chen Kaien: Lean production is the first. It is the most basic part of supporting intelligent manufacturing. Laponi began to lean production design in 2009. If he left the idea of lean production or did not carry out substantive transformation of lean production, intelligent manufacturing could only be a slogan that was empty.

    Next is the machine substitution, Laponi started a lot of machine replacement work since 2013, because we are deeply aware that China's demographic dividend is gradually disappearing, and there are fewer workers with technology precipitation. Therefore, in order to change the situation of completely relying on the production of workers, a lot of energy was invested in the automation transformation at that time, and the quality and efficiency of products could be guaranteed by improving the quality of equipment.

    The last one is information management. Since 2016, we have started to focus more on information construction, and strive to do some coordination management in the upstream and downstream of supply chain. But information construction is a very difficult process. So far, I do not think there is a set of perfect processes to serve our industry in China. In this regard, Laponi is also constantly exploring.

    Reporter: what challenges did Laponi face in changing or upgrading?

    Chen Kaien: In the course of development, a company will meet more or less challenges, and Laponi's greatest challenge in the development process should be how to recognize the right direction of development and work in a coordinated way.

    Many software companies now focus on one area of information development, which is equivalent to an isolated island. But today, the market is changing rapidly and the demand for technology is getting higher and higher. If we want to update their products, we must collaborate with them and upgrade them synchronously. Therefore, we have to do a good job of communicating ahead of time, that is, coordinated development. This is a very difficult task. In this case, our team has spent more than three years to achieve little success, but we have never flinched, because our team agreed that any difficulties could be overcome as long as the direction was right, even if one thing was repeated many times.

    Reporter: now many enterprises are actively carrying out the path of innovation and development. What kind of planning do you think Laponi will have in the innovation level in the future?

    Chen Kaien: I think innovation is a never-ending road. Luckily, the rapid development of science and technology in China provides us with many opportunities for innovation. For example, now we see that many aviation cold resistant materials are increasingly replacing the traditional thermal filler, which is the innovation of materials. Meanwhile, the development of technology has also strongly supported the innovation of product design to meet our higher aesthetic needs, and these La Bonnie Du can participate in it.

    Of course, besides material innovation and product design innovation, management innovation is also important. Because only by constantly innovating management can we coordinate the development relationship between the upstream and downstream departments of various departments so as to improve work efficiency. In response to this, Laponi is still in an experimental stage, hoping that there will be a breakthrough in the future.

    Reporter: What do you think of the fashion industry park, a Chinese Clothing Quality Alliance base built by China Apparel Association?

    Chen Kaien: In the past, clothing manufacturing end may be the bottom of the whole garment from production to sale, but with the continuous development of the garment industry, the location of the manufacturing industry has been "soaring" and has attracted more and more attention. And the China Apparel Association can see this trend in a forward-looking way. It is a very correct thing to make an integrated layout from the beginning of the supply chain to the manufacturing industry, to attract the brand and to connect the brand. So I was very excited when the fashion industrial park just came out, because this is sponsored by the China clothing association, and it is the national team of Chinese clothing quality manufacturing. It will surely attract many high-quality resources into the fashion industrial park.

    Reporter: How do you evaluate these activities since the opening of the fashion industrial park?

    Chen Kaien: Since its establishment, the fashion industrial park has held various salons, docking meetings, training and visits in a short period of time, and has helped us to get some high-quality resources. But docking is just the beginning. How to go further with customers is the problem that our enterprises need to consider deeply. Therefore, in the face of the title of "Chinese clothing quality manufacturer" awarded by the China clothing association to these enterprises, we must honor this honor, restrain ourselves and change ourselves, and meet the needs of our customers on our own strength.

    Reporter: What kind of expectation do you have for the future of the fashion industrial park?

    Chen Kaien: I hope that the future of fashion industrial park will become better and better, and attract more customers who are not limited to brand dealers, including regional brands, collection stores, retailers and so on. Because I think that only by attracting customers continuously to find quality products and services to meet the needs of the target will the platform continue to grow.
