On the evening of December 26, the opening ceremony of the 6th China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Conference was held in Gaoyang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. The conference leads the new development of local industries

Chen Weikang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Textile Industry Federation, stressed in his speech that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the strategic goal of building a Chinese style modernization, emphasized carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and comprehensively promoting rural revitalization, forming a new situation of urban-rural integration and development. This year, in order to continue to deepen the revitalization of Chinese traditional crafts and high-quality inheritance and development, and build a high-quality team of textile intangible heritage talents, it took five months of solicitation, selection and strict screening, and finally decided to award 12 comrades, including Ma Linqin and Wang Yao, the title of "2022 Chinese textile intangible heritage promotion envoy" (see the appendix at the end of the article for details). Sun Huaibin, former vice president of China Textile Federation and executive chairman of the 6th China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Conference, read out the Decision on the Selection Results of China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Ambassadors in 2022. Over the past six years, a total of 70 ambassadors for the promotion of intangible textile heritage in China have been selected. As a famous textile town, Gaoyang's textile industry began in the late Ming Dynasty, flourished in the late Qing Dynasty, and flourished in the early Republic of China. The annual output value of the textile industry reaches 43 billion yuan. The production and sales of towels and blankets account for one third of the national market share. In 2022, Gaoyang County's textile industry cluster will comprehensively rank 19th among the 107 key characteristic industry clusters in Hebei Province; Gaoyang Textile has been included in the city's pilot development of digital empowerment of traditional industries.
