Industry Standard: The Development Of CNTAC/CWTA Group Standard For Combed Heterogeneous Sheep Wool Was Officially Launched

After the application of relevant units, the "Sorting Heterogeneous Sheep Wool" group standard plan project of China Textile Federation/China Wool Association was officially approved by the China Textile Federation Standards Committee and the China Wool Association Standards Committee, and the standard kick-off meeting was held online and offline on April 7, 2025. Sun Ximin, deputy director of the Science and Technology Development Department of the China Textile Industry Federation, Liu Jiaqiang, chairman of the China Wool Textile Industry Association, Liu Yan, vice chairman, Liu Dan, vice chairman, Wang Li, director of the Fiber Quality Monitoring Center of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Dai Lingjie, deputy director, Li Xiaomei, chief engineer, Han Jing, director of the Inspection Center of the Beijing Wool Textile Science Research Institute, and Li Tao, deputy director of the Technology Center, Ye Fangfang, Deputy Director of the Fiber Quality Monitoring Center of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Zhang Tao, Deputy General Manager of Nanjing Hellmans Group Co., Ltd., and Yuan Jin, Technical Director attended the meeting, which was chaired by Liu Dan.

At the meeting, Liu Jiaqiang pointed out that the development orientation of the combing heterogeneous cotton wool industry should be viewed scientifically, and technical support should be built for the rational application, circulation and trade of raw materials through the formulation of group standards. The preparation team introduced the standard development plan and detailed the task division. All participating units said that they would attach great importance to the standard formulation and actively undertake their own tasks. At the same time, all units carried out in-depth discussions around core technical indicators. Finally, Sun Ximin proposed that the formulation of the group standard should ensure the coordination with the current national bank standard, and the Secretariat of the Standardization Committee should strengthen the organization and coordination and standardize the work process. After the meeting, the standard preparation working group will carry out sampling, data verification, text preparation and other work according to the requirements of the meeting, and complete the standard formulation on time and with high quality.
