Hundreds Of Universities Gathered At Central South University To Talk About Innovation And Entrepreneurship Education In Colleges And Universities

In April 16th, the society of innovation and entrepreneurship education of China Higher Education Society was formally established in Central South University.

As the first major event after the establishment of the branch, the National Forum on innovation and entrepreneurship education was also held in the international lecture hall of Central South University in the afternoon.

The forum is jointly sponsored by the Department of higher education of the Ministry of education, the ideological and political department and the Hunan Provincial Department of education. The association of innovation and entrepreneurship education of China Higher Education Society co organized with Central South University.

Leaders of the Ministry of education and the provincial education department participated in the leading experts of the 102 colleges and universities of the China Higher Education Society's innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Conference. The leaders of the school, Gao Wen, Huang Boyun and Xu Jianjun, attended the forum.

More than 500 teachers and students in our school listened to the wonderful narration of 7 experts.

The forum is chaired by Gao Wenbing, chairman of the innovation and entrepreneurship education branch of China Higher Education Society and Secretary of the Party committee of Central South University.

The 7 experts from Central South University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, China and China Higher Education Association have come to the stage to discuss the concept and knowledge of entrepreneurship education, the way and practice of entrepreneurship education, the mode and connotation of entrepreneurship education, the experience and characteristics of entrepreneurship education, the problems and difficulties in entrepreneurship education, and the future outlook of entrepreneurship education.

Academician Huang Boyun, President of Central South University, actively promoting the innovation and entrepreneurship education in Colleges and universities, enhancing the entrepreneurial and employability of college students. President Huang Boyun expounded the necessity, reality and urgency of promoting the innovation and entrepreneurship education in Colleges and universities in the new era.

He believes that colleges and universities should correctly guide, support, encourage and strengthen training, and cultivate more high-quality top-notch innovative talents that meet the needs of the society.

President Huang Boyun introduced the exploration measures of Central South University in promoting entrepreneurship education in Colleges and universities from 5 aspects: standardized training, social practice, project funding, base support and networking education.

To promote entrepreneurship education in Colleges and universities, President Huang Boyun gave three suggestions: set up a special fund for National University Students' entrepreneurship, vigorously promote the construction of research and innovation system, and set up a small and medium incubation base for university students near the university town.

Professor Xu Fei, deputy secretary of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, quicken the pace of innovation and entrepreneurship education and serve the innovative national construction. Deputy Secretary Xu Fei said that innovation is the main theme of the times and the main driving force for social development.

Taking the rise of Britain, America, Japan and other countries as an example, he pointed out that innovation is the driving force for the progress and development of a country and nation. Speeding up the pace of innovation and entrepreneurship education and taking the road of scientific and technological innovation is the foundation of building an innovative country.

He believes that speeding up the pace of innovation and entrepreneurship education has its necessity and reality. It is an important measure for universities to deal with the economic crisis and promote students' employment, and is the only way for their own development.

Xu Fei, deputy secretary of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, suggested that college students should cultivate their innovative spirit, establish a sense of mission, sense of responsibility and responsibility, abandon the idea of making a living without seeking a way; universities should promote the construction of innovative platforms and carriers, and create a favorable atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship.

In view of the innovation and entrepreneurship education in Colleges and universities, Zheng Qiang, deputy secretary of the CPC, holds that different universities should have different strategic positioning and give full play to their own strengths according to their own characteristics.

He believes that promoting the innovation and entrepreneurship education in Colleges and universities is the specific requirement of social development in the new era. Universities should be brave enough to shoulder the responsibilities of flag bearers and lead social innovation and entrepreneurship education.

He stressed that colleges and universities should gradually sublimate the idea of educating people. The primary goal of innovative education in universities is to educate people, that is, compound talents with strong quality and broad foundation, and comprehensively deepen the reform of teaching mode and personnel training mode, and infiltrate the idea of innovation and entrepreneurship in teaching practice.

He suggested that we should set up a subsidization system for poor students' entrepreneurship education and rich and colorful funding system for the second classroom education, establish a system of complementary functions and entrepreneurship education, set up a platform for harmonious and orderly entrepreneurship promotion, set up an educational structure for entrepreneurship, and create a good entrepreneurial culture atmosphere.
