The London Fashion Industry In Shenzhen Is Heading For The International Stage.
A fashion show, called "Shenzhen night", was held in London on the evening of twenty-three. "Taking the road to ask questions" highlights the ambition of Shenzhen's fashion industry to go to the international stage.
London's industry insiders were invited to admire the fashion show of seven colors, such as "jute", "Song Li Si" and "Tianyi". The fashion models worn by Chinese and British models show some Chinese elements, while others try to keep up with fashion trends.
Liu Yi, founder and artistic director of the seven color hemp, told reporters that his design style was to extract elements from Chinese operas and apply the royal court concept to the costumes. "Today is only the beginning of communication," she said. "Of course, we hope to enter London in the future."
How can we stay in London in one of the fashion capital of the world? Liu Yi said, "if the British people like it today, they will have a chance to live very close to them." It has already achieved initial results. Liu Yi said: "the reaction of our British counterparts is that I didn't expect China's fashion industry to develop so fast, nor did it expect Chinese elements to be so modern."
Sophie White, designer of the British clothing brand Speedo, told our correspondent that the event was a success and loved some of the designs that incorporated the East and West elements. However, she also said: "it is extremely difficult to carry out commercial promotion in Europe. It is hard to say whether these Oriental style designs are suitable for the London market."
Before the fashion show, there were more than a dozen brands such as Xiu Bei, Ming, Hai Tian, Tai Ma, Bo Rou and so on. They held a small exhibition to promote their business in London. Zhuo Qinrui, vice mayor of Shenzhen, made the recommendation in London.
Zhuo Qinrui said that there are more than 3400 garment enterprises in Shenzhen, which is an important gathering place and fashion creative city of China. At present, efforts are being made to increase the added value and cultural content of the garment industry and speed up the internationalization of Shenzhen's clothing industry.
