Xinhua Nanjing, September 18 (reporter Che Hongliang) sponsored by the China Textile Industry Association, "2008 China Textile and clothing brand culture promotion conference" was held in Changshu, Jiangsu on the 18 day. The conference selected "2008 Chinese textile ten brand culture" and "2008 China textile brand culture innovation award" and many other awards.

Du Yuzhou, President of the China Textile Industry Association, said that the China Textile and clothing brand culture promotion conference was held in 2005. It aims to explore the cultural connotation of the famous textile brands in China, summarize the basic experience of the textile enterprise's brand culture construction, encourage the vast textile enterprises to create national brands, and promote the implementation of China's textile brand strategy.

Xu Kunyuan, vice president of the China Textile Industry Association, said that China's textile industry, with its cost advantages, has formed a manufacturing capacity of more than 1/3 of the world's total textile products.

But this year, the textile industry has seen a sharp decline in profitability and a continuous expansion of its deficit.

In the face of difficulties, the textile industry urgently needs to change the way of growth, achieve industrial upgrading, and increase the contribution rate of technology and independent brands to economic growth.

At the conference, Bosideng was named "China's textile and clothing leading brand". Bosideng down clothing has been the first in the country for 13 consecutive years since 1995, accounting for more than 1/3 of the total Chinese market, and has become the only "world famous brand" in China's apparel industry.
