The event focused on the combination of publicity and marketing, trade and investment, exports and imports, superior products and target markets, product development and talent training, opened up new markets, played a positive role in establishing a good image of Sichuan after the disaster and promoting economic and trade cooperation with Europe. Clothing and footwear have always been the dominant industries in Sichuan. In 2007, the total export volume of clothing was 1 billion 230 million US dollars, and the export volume ranked first in the single commodity of our province, accounting for 14.1% of the total export volume of our province. Our province has more than 2000 footwear manufacturers, and the Chinese women's shoes are growing steadily.
