Professionalism Should Be Done In The Workplace.

    2008/2/28 10:29:00 41804

The manager asked the new interns to copy a pile of papers, and the interns were quick to hand the photocopies to the manager.

After seeing the manager, he was very unhappy. "After all, he is a college student who has just entered the society, but he is not professional enough."

It turned out that the intern did not collate and bind the documents after photocopying. Instead, he gave the manager a lot of copies. He seemed to imply that I had finished the copy task.

There is also a practicing lawyer who meets with the client.

At 10:00 a.m., I met the law firm, and the lawyer was late for a quarter of an hour, on the grounds of traffic jam.

At the same time, the lawyer was dressed in casual clothes, wearing a T-shirt, jeans and a pair of sneakers on his feet.

Although a briefcase was also carried, the client was always uneasy when he saw the lawyer's dress. Is such a lawyer professional enough?

Can such a lawyer get a good lawsuit?

Can such a lawyer protect my interests?

There are many similar examples, which are not limited to industry, post, sex and nationality.

No matter how they behave or where the main points of their mistakes are, they all revolve around a topic -- what is professionalism and how to achieve professionalism.

Everyone can say something about this question.

Nevertheless, there are always a few points about professionalism. First, professionalism is the embodiment of modern business civilization. It is one of the foundations of business rules. It is the moral and code of conduct that must be observed between enterprises and enterprises, between enterprises and employees and between employees and employees. Second, professionalism is related to professional quality, and also involves professional ethics. As a professional person, having professional knowledge, skilled skills and rich experience is the most basic requirement, and the important thing is to have excellent professional quality.

Professional quality is professional ethics for the working people, that is, it has the corresponding professional standards, professional responsibilities, professional ethics and professionalism. Third, professionalism is also a manifestation of corporate culture. In the workplace, everyone speaks in the same language and acts with the same behavior and moral standards. There is no rule, no Cheng Fangyuan. Sometimes, only rules and regulations can make things smooth and develop according to plan.

Therefore, professionalism can be understood as a kind of upbringing, habits, norms and beliefs. Fourth, professionalism is a system and a mechanism.

Professional management is a kind of system. It is based on certain criteria, principles and yardstick. It uses scientific management methods and flexible management methods to manage large to small organizations.

Therefore, professionalization has become an effective means of management.

Professionalism is just like management. In the final analysis, it is a kind of practice and experience, not just a theoretical problem.

Of course, this is not to say that there is no way to guide and guide the way of professionalization, but rather that it is not too (completely) confined to the barriers of theory.

For example, like Dr. Zhou Yongliang in his "I am a professional man", I have come up with 10 professional codes of conduct, that is, the results prove that values, responsibilities create character, ability to solve problems, pay attention to daily details, patiently treat customers, comply with company norms, group interests, precise time concept, communication solutions and actions are consistent.

These principled generalizations may not be difficult to understand, but how many people can actually do it in practice, especially in the continuous implementation?

Let's take the two examples mentioned above.

In the first case, the reason why the intern was not professional was that he did not accurately distinguish the difference between "completing the task" and "pursuing the result".

In his view, the manager asked him to copy the document, as long as the photocopy of the end of the good, at this time, his logic of action is "I want to complete the task."

But as a professional, he should understand that the manager not only wants him to photocopy the documents, but also requires him to arrange and bind them in a neat way after the photocopying, which is convenient for the manager to review.

That is to say, collation and binding are the continuation of copying this task, and it is a necessary way to create the results of tasks and enhance the value of action.

But because the intern was not aware of this, he took it for granted that the manager "just" asked him to copy the document.

In the second case, the lawyer obviously ignored the daily details and had no idea of time.

Even if we assume that the lawyer is very capable, he often wins the lawsuit, but to a certain extent, he gives the impression that he is not professional. At least for his behavior, behavior, appearance, and conversation, he is not enough like a barrister, and there is no professional, rigorous and standard legal person.

Some people say that professional employees can create more competitive enterprises, and professional employees will also create greater opportunities and space for their employees to grow up.

This is true, but there is a need to add that it is the professionalism and the war force that make individuals decide to win the future, and professionalism is the only way to them.

In this sense, whether a person is a professional is not only related to the development of personal career, but also to the personal brand and core value in social competition. In this sense, the importance of a person is far beyond the scope of work and rising to the level of life.

Breaking The Confusion, The Absolute Challenge In The Interview!

In my impression, interview is nothing more than asking for name, age, work experience, why to apply for a job, why leave the original company and so on. So before this interview, my answers to these questions in my mind have long been familiar. I went to a famous company in China, and I was assigned to a group of three people, and then I was taken to the interview hall. There are four interviewers in the interview hall. This atmosphere makes me feel like "absolutely."
