The Biggest Problem Of Employees In Modern Enterprises Is That Work Is Not In Place.
1. "in place" is the minimum standard of work.
Everyone has its own responsibilities, and everyone has its own standard of work.
The duty of the doctor is to save the death and help the wounded, the duty of the soldier is to defend the motherland, the duty of the teacher is to cultivate the talented person, the duty of the worker is to produce the qualified product...
Everyone in the society has different positions and responsibilities, but different places have a minimum job requirement for everyone.
In modern workplace, employees of many enterprises are muddled along, and their work is not always in place.
5% of the people are not working, they are creating contradictions.
10% of people are waiting to do something = not wanting to do it.
15% of people are working to increase inventories = "do", "blind" and "do".
10% of people did not contribute to the company = doing, but negative labor;
20% of people are working according to inefficient standards or methods, but do not do it correctly and effectively.
Only 40% of the people belong to the normal range, but the performance is still not high.
Zhang Ruimin, President of Haier group, once said this: if a Japanese is to wipe the table six times a day, he will go on doing it all the time; if he is a Chinese, he will wipe the six times according to his requirements, and he will feel that he can do it five times or four times.
The biggest problem with Chinese people is their work is not serious and not in place.
Lack of work every day has been a stubborn disease for a long time.
On one occasion, Liu Yonghang, President of the hope group, visited South Korea and was arranged to visit a flour mill.
However, this ordinary visit gave him a great deal of excitement, and he could hardly sleep after several nights.
The flour mill belongs to the sijay group, which has 1500 tons of wheat per day, but only 66 employees.
Liu Yonghang, a small factory with only a few dozen employees, was amazed by the high efficiency of his work.
In China, enterprises with a daily production capacity of only a few hundred tons, but the number of employees is as high as 100.
We hope that the efficiency of the group is higher than that of the same industry in China, but there are seventy or eighty employees in the 250 tonnes of daily processing capacity, and the per capita production capacity is only 1/6 of that in Korea.
In order to make sure of the mystery, Liu Yonghang had an in-depth conversation with the management of the factory and realized that they had also invested in China, and the address was in Ulanhot, Inner Mongolia.
At that time, the daily processing capacity was 250 tons, and the number of employees was as high as 155.
The same investors, factories in China and South Korea's local factories production efficiency is 10 times different, the benefits will not be too ideal, running in for a period of time, feel that there is no possibility of improvement, the factory will be closed.
Why is there such a big gap between the efficiency of the two factories?
Is the advanced degree of equipment different?
No
On the contrary, South Korea's local factories were put into production in 1980s, and the joint venture plant in Inner Mongolia was built in 90s, and the equipment is more advanced than the original factory.
Is it a matter of management?
Neither.
The main management of the factory is basically Korean.
Just now, Liu Yonghang met the director of Korea, who was in charge of Inner Mongolia.
With great curiosity, Liu Yonghang specifically consulted the director of the factory: "why do the same equipment and same management in China's factories need to employ so many people?"
The director replied very implicitly: "maybe the Chinese are not working well."
It was such a understatement that Liu Yonghang could not sleep after returning home.
He knew that in the face of a group of Chinese entrepreneurs, the director's words were very polite.
Behind this seemingly plain language, there must be many hidden secrets. There must be many unknown management problems.
After careful consideration, there is no doubt that there is a big gap between Chinese and Korean people.
Koreans always work hand in hand, so long as they have finished their work at hand, they must arrange other things.
They are versatile. If they feel that their jobs are relatively idle, they will do something else to save manpower.
In most of China's enterprises, there are many ideas that do almost enough work, so our efficiency is low.
It can be said that doing the work in place is the minimum standard of work for every employee. Any company needs to do its job well.
All walks of life are calling for employees who can do their jobs well.
Ziegler said, "if you can do your part and try to finish what you should do, one day, you can do whatever you want."
On the other hand, if you go all the way and do your best to get your job done, you will never reach the peak of success.
2. "behind the scenes" is inefficient and wasteful.
Gerd once told such a story in his narrative song:
Jesus took his disciple Peter on a journey, found a broken horseshoe on the way, and Jesus asked Peter to pick it up.
Peter was too lazy to stoop and pretend not to hear.
Jesus didn't say anything. He picked up the horseshoe and exchanged 3 coins from the blacksmith, then bought 18 cherries with this money.
The two went on, all through the wilderness.
Peter was thirsty, so Jesus deliberately let one of the cherries hidden in his sleeve drop out. Peter saw it quickly and picked it up and ate it.
As Jesus walked away, Peter also bent 18 times in a dilemma.
Jesus said to Peter, "when you bend your waist once, you won't end up bending over."
Similarly, in our work, if we do the work for the first time, we can save a lot of unnecessary trouble in our future work, and our work will become more efficient.
We all have this experience: to finish the work as soon as possible, we quickly finish something, do not think too much about the details, and finally have to do it again. In order to save money, we throw litter on the floor. The cleaning personnel have to pick it up again and throw it again.
Sometimes we waste other people's time. Sometimes we waste our time, and it's all because we haven't done our work at the same time.
Once upon a time, a carpet merchant saw a carpet rising in the middle of the carpet, and smoothed it out.
But not far away, the carpet rose again, and he smoothed up the bulge.
In a short while, another piece of land rose in another place, so again and again, and three, he tried to flatten the carpet, until at last he pulled up the corner of the carpet and saw a snake slip out.
When solving problems at work, many people just shift the problem from one part of the system to another, or just finish a small part of a big problem.
For example, a machine in a factory is broken. The teacher responsible for maintenance is only doing the simplest inspection. As long as the machine can run normally, they will not make thorough checks on the machine. It will only arouse people's vigilance when the machine can not operate at all.
This kind of work that only satisfies the minor repair and small subsidy is actually not doing the work in place, and the result is inefficient work and waste of resources.
At work, many people have the habit of leaving only one part of their work and putting their work aside.
And they fully believe what they seem to have accomplished.
However, this is not the case.
For example, if a footballer stops at the moment of a close door and retracted his feet, he will lose all his strength and waste his strength.
If you do not work well, you will not only bring trouble to yourself, but also bring trouble to others, sometimes even bring inconvenience to your boss, because if your company does not do it, your boss is going to do it; if you fail to do it, he will help you do it again.
From an economic point of view, the company has paid a high salary to hire your boss, which costs far above you. The value of the work he spends an hour may be worth the work value you create one day.
From the point of efficiency, when you spend time doing a little thing and hand in the leadership, your boss finds that your work is not in place. Then he needs to take time to add and revise it. This will not only waste your time, but also occupy other people's working hours, so you'd better try your best to do the job one time at a time.
Because you have done your job well, your boss doesn't need to spend time repairing it, so everyone's work efficiency will be improved.
It can be said that in the work, low efficiency or inefficiency caused by the hidden waste is very large, for example, as long as a person has to undertake the work, because can not work to achieve the position requires more than two personnel to complete; this should be done correctly, simple work, because the work is not done in place, and so on, these are a waste of time and energy, all these are due to the loss of work done.
What is even more frightening is that such mistakes will be covered by various excuses and reasons, resulting in repeated occurrence and greater waste.
In our work, we can tolerate creative mistakes, but we must not allow repeated low-grade mistakes due to the failure of work.
