China Textile City Italy Set Up "International Fabric Sourcing Center"
The first overseas international fabric sourcing center in China Textile City will be located in Italy, the "fashion country". Deng Suwei, general manager of the international fabric purchasing center of China Textile City, is negotiating with foreign businessmen from abroad for specific steps. Next, she plans to copy the new "international fabric sourcing center" in Dubai and other places.
The international fabric sourcing center, built on China Textile City, integrates textile display, trade, information and communication. Thousands of exhibition frames and over 20000 kinds of textiles form a large sample room, creating a new mode of domestic textile trading and intermediary services. Buyers can accurately and quickly and conveniently cooperate with dealers based on samples. In the near future, the international fabric purchasing center has signed alliance cooperation agreements with three units, such as Shanghai fabric Museum, China textile finishing center in Suzhou and China fabric Museum in Wuxi, to realize shared information and develop together.
Like the international fabric sourcing center, the textile enterprises in Shaoxing county also actively "go out", invest abroad to establish trading companies, set up windows, and build an international marketing network. According to the survey conducted in the first half of this year, there are 82 trade companies operating normally in foreign countries and 5 production enterprises, up nearly 50% from the same period last year. The pace of "going out" is ahead of the whole city and even the whole province, according to a survey conducted by the Shaoxing foreign trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau.
The benefits of "going out" are obvious. Nowadays, the sales outlets set up by "new Zhongtian" all over Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, France, Italy, Korea and other countries. After gradually having their own marketing channels, their role in the international market has also changed from manufacturers to dealers and brand holders.
